We have often seen Shah Rukh’s humble gestures towards Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan, and we adore this quality in the superstar. And now, a throwback video of the duo has been winning hearts on social media.
A Reddit thread shared an old video of Jaya Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan dancing at Simi Garewal’s party. In the video, SRK and Jaya were seen dressed in white and dancing together while having a deep conversation. The video also featured Amitabh Bachchan dancing with actress, Mahima Choudhary.

Another interesting aspect of the video was Sushmita Sen’s effortless singing of the popular song, Sacrifice by Elton John. Sushmita stole the show by singing on the stage with the band and was later joined by Simi herself. The priceless video was indeed one of the best moments of Bollywood, and it also featured celebrities like Manisha Koirala, Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan.
As soon as Reddit shared the video, some users were quick to react. Some hailed the simple party scenes of that time, while others couldn’t stop praising Shah Rukh Khan and Jaya Bachchan’s camaraderie. One of the users wrote, “Wow.. had never seen this before... Sush is such a stunner. SRK & Jaya are so cute Big B, Mahima, Manisha.. nice to see them all. Another wrote, “My favorite son and mother duo.”

Jaya Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan’s mother-son relationship was not only limited to on-screen, but King Khan also shares a warm bond with the entire Bachchan clan. “Of course, I do. I haven't had the opportunity to discuss it with him, and I am going to speak to him about it. If he was at my home, I would have slapped him, just as I would my own son. But I have connected with him in my soul, and that's it.”

On November 18, 2018, Amitabh Bachchan shared a glimpse from his granddaughter, Aaradhya Bachchan’s birthday bash. Sharing a picture of AbRam Khan greeting Mr Bachchan, Big B wrote:
“And this be little Abram, Shah Rukh's little one... who thinks, believes and is convinced beyond any doubt, that I am his father's father... and wonders why Shah Rukh's father does not stay with him!"
