While hosting for the singing reality show, Superstar Singer, Jay had said, "No relationship in the world can match the sanity of a father-daughter relationship and I wish that when my wife gives birth to a baby, she is a baby girl. I have no preference as such and it is not that I won't like if a baby boy is born but I admire this bond and since I have had a father-son connect with my father, now when I have a child, I want a daughter so that I can experience this too." Before welcoming the little angel into their lives, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij had adopted their caretaker’s kids, Khushi and Rajveer, and had decided to fund their education. Khushi and Rajveer are the apples of Jay and Mahhi's eyes and their social media handles are proof of it. Speaking about them, Mahhi had said in an interview, "A lot of people keep asking my friends if they are our kids because we feel that they are our kids.
