And joining the bandwagon of soon-to-be parents are Ishqbaaaz fame, Nakuul Mehta and his wife and singer, Jankee Parekh Mehta. Nakuul Mehta and Jankee Parekh are the perfect example of fairytale love. When Nakuul had first seen Jankee, he was just 18 and had thought how amazing his life would be if she would agree to marry him. He had always known that she was the one destined for him. After dating each other for 9 years, the two had gotten married on January 28, 2012. The beautiful couple has completed 8 years of marital bliss and are all set to enter the next phase of their marriage, i.e., parenthood.
Ever since Nakuul and Jankee have made their pregnancy announcement, we are hooked to their social media handles for adorable pictures. And the two never fail to surprise us as they love sharing cutesy pictures of their beautiful pregnancy moments. On December 14, 2020, Jankee took to her IG handle and shared adorable pictures with Nakuul and their ‘three-fourth’. The soon-to-be parents posed for the camera amid the scenic beauty and Jankee’s pregnancy glow was unmissable as she flaunted her baby bump. Along with the pictures, Jankee wrote, “Two & 3/4th @nakuulmehta… #babyonboard.”
Talking about Nakuul and Jankee’s pregnancy announcement, then it was an adorable one. Taking to his IG handle on November 7, 2020, Nakuul Mehta had announced that his life is expanding as he is soon going to be a daddy. Sharing a beautiful video of how they had started as best friends, later had turned into girlfriend- boyfriend, and then had gotten married and are now going to embrace parenthood, Nakuul had written, “Best friend < Girl friend < Missus < THIS Circle of life & then some more .. Avec @jank_ee #WeAreExpanding.” The video had their childhood picture, dating pictures, marriage pictures and then had come to their pregnancy test picture with two lines and baby bump pictures, sweetly surprising their fans. Jankee had also taken to her IG handle and had shared photoshoot pictures with hubby, Nakuul, flaunting her baby bump, while twining with him. Sharing that their quarantine wasn’t boring, she had written, “Our quarantine wasn’t boring at all we’re going to have a souvenir for life and we CANNOT wait! In an interview with Humans of Bombay, Nakuul had talked about how he had met the love of his life, Jankee. He had said, "My first thought when I saw Jankee was, ‘How amazing would life be, if she agreed to marry me.’ I was only 18 but my instincts told me, she was the one. We were both training with Shiamak–I saw her there for the first time. I was also interning at BSE & remember travelling from there to Andheri, strategising an opening line."
On January 28, 2020, Nakuul and Jankee had completed 8 years of their married life. Nakuul's wife, Jankee had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a childhood picture with her hubby. Alongside it, she had written in Devanagari, "Bachpan ka pyaar, taken seriously! Happy anniversary", followed by a heart emoji. Nakuul had also shared a mushy picture with his wife and had written in Devanagari, "Mai hoon kyonki, tum ho! Happy anniversary baby!"
