Before, we take you further into the story, let us take a look at Janhvi's journey in the filmy world. Janhvi Kapoor is the daughter of a filmmaker, Boney Kapoor and late legendary actress, Sridevi Kapoor. The starlet had made her acting debut with Dhadak and everyone instantly fell in love with her. There have been numerous times when Janhvi has reminded us of her late mother, Sridevi. Time and again, Janhvi has recreated her looks and has left everyone in love with her.
On March 30, 2020, Janhvi took to her Instagram handle and shared two pictures, wherein she wrote about the things she has learnt in last week while practising self-isolation. In the long note, Janvhi wrote how she can still smell her mother, Sridevi's presence in her dressing room. She also shared that she now knows that her father misses her and that Khushi Kapoor is definitely the cooler sister. Janvhi captioned it as "Also learnt that I like to write... p.s. wrote this 3 days ago since we started self-isolating a little before the lockdown and it had already been a week for me by then." Take a look at it below:
In an interview with Rajeev Masand, Janhvi had talked about various aspects of her life, the legacy of her parents which she has been taking forward and the effect of being a star kid. She had shared that she doesn't take her mother's legacy lightly and had said that she thinks of it as a responsibility. Her mother, in particular, had gotten so much love and appreciation from the audience. Janhvi had further shared that she has learnt the art of 'working hard' from her mother, Sridevi. She had stated that she doesn’t think it is possible, for anyone, let alone her to be like the legendary actress. However, her intention with her work is the same. The kind of hard work she had put in, has been inculcated in Janhvi too, by DNA, and conditioning.
In an interview with the Vogue magazine, Janhvi had revealed that her mother never wanted her to be an actress. She had said that her mother never thought her elder daughter was made for the world of glam and glitz. Janhvi was quoted as saying, "She never wanted me to be an actress. She was more relaxed about Khushi getting into films. She thought I was naïve, that I wasn’t thick-skinned enough. She wanted us to live a more relaxed life. She loved what she did but you know it was intense." (Don't Miss: Kanika Kapoor Is Missing Her Kids And Family After Being Tested Positive Fourth Time For Coronavirus)
