Janhvi Kapoor followed her late mother, Sridevi’s footsteps and ventured into acting. It was in 2018 when Janhvi Kapoor made her acting debut with Dharma Productions' film, Dhadak. Sadly, Sridevi could not witness her daughter’s stardom. Since then, there has been no looking back for this star kid.
Along with the stardom that Janvi enjoys, the star kid often falls victim to trolling, either for her attire or for her performance. A Reddit thread recently dug out an old video of Janhvi Kapoor struggling very hard to speak in English. The video in question is from the time when Janhvi was studying in school.

As Janvi Kapoor attended a press meet with Sridevi, the celeb kid was asked by one of the journalists whether she aspired to be an actress like her mother. Answering the question, Janhvi first gave a surprised reaction and then took the mic and started speaking in English first. She paused for a moment and then spoke in Hindi and said:
"Ji mujhe pata nahi hai, mai abhi school me paraai kar rahi hoon.”
Soon Sridevi took the mic from her and shared how she bullies Janhvi because of her Hindi and did a little enactment of her daughter’s accent too. The old video recently went viral and people started trolling her. One of the users commented, “Imagine that your Tamil-Telugu mother who grew up in Chennai speaks better Hindi than you, who grew up with a Hindi-speaking dad and in Mumbai and your whole family is in the Hindi film industry.” Another one commented, “It’s the typical sobo elite accent IYKYK.”

This is not the first time Janhvi has been trolled. In an interview with Curly Tales, Janhvi Kapoor was asked which subject she liked the most in her school days. To this, she mentioned that it was history and literature and added that she did really well in them. However, soon she was asked about the one subject in which she was poor and hated it. In reply to this, she mentioned mathematics and added that it makes people retarded.
As soon as the video surfaced on social media, netizens started trolling the actress for saying such a thing about the subject of maths. One netizen commented on her IQ and wrote, "Aryabhatta be like : tmhari IQ check krne ke liye hi zero invent kiya tha." Another user penned, "Dude if maths made people retarded, we would still be cavemen lol."
