Dhadak debutants, Janhvi and Ishaan’s on-screen chemistry had made their fans root for some probable ‘off-screen’ romance of these two too! Janhvi and Ishaan praising and pulling each other’s legs in interviews and social media have made people speculate that something ‘more than friends’ surely brims between them.
On Movie Masti With Maniesh Paul, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter had made an appearance and sharing a snippet from the same, she had written, “Watch me travel back to time with @ishaankhatter only on Movie Masti with Maniesh Paul #ThrowbackTo90s #LOLWithManieshPaul #MovieMasti @manieshpaul @ishaankhatter.” Janhvi and Ishaan could be seen recreating Raj Kapoor and Nargis' evergreen song, Pyaar Hua Iqraar Hua Hai and Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s Ghar Aaja Pardesi (Karwa Chauth scene) from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
On October 13, 2019, Janhvi Kapoor had attended a family lunch with the Kapoors and for the potluck, she had cooked red rice veg biryani. Ishaan had appeared on the second season of Anaita Shroff Adjania’s chat show, Feet Up With The Stars. When the host of the show, Anaita had asked Ishaan about one of the most annoying habits of Janhvi, this is what the 23-year-old had shared, "She is a mastikhor. She knows which buttons to press. It's irritating because sometimes, she will go on a tangent when it's not required and she will stay on it," further adding that she "fights when she doesn't want to fight.”
It was on July 20, 2018, when Janhvi Kapoor had made her debut in the film industry with her co-star, Ishaan Khatter in Dhadak.
