It was surely an emotional moment for all Vijay fans, who won’t be able to see the star on the big screen now. After his official sign-off, Vijay is all set to begin his full-fledged work as Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister.

The film added another milestone to Vijay’s career as it crossed 1 million ticket sales on a ticketing platform. Vijay scripts history with third straight 1M+ pre-sales milestone. This achievement came before the first show of the film started.
Ever since the release of the film, people embraced the sentiment of seeing Vijay for the one last time on the big screen. It was their moment of one last First Day First Show, one last chance to blow the whistle, one last chance to dance their hearts out with their superstar Vijay. When theatres opened on July 23, 2026, it was more like a festival in Chennai.
