However, his life is disturbed when a large group plans to unleash violence in the nation. This makes 'Vetri' stop the danger while protecting his daughter. The major highlight of the trailer is the entry of Bobby Deol, the antagonist of the film. According to a report by Filmibeat, the film, Jana Nayagan is made on a budget of Rs. 380 crore. If reports are to be believed, it is one of the most expensive Tamil films ever made. As expected, Thalapathy Vijay is the highest-paid actor of the film, Jana Nayagan. While the number has not been confirmed by the actor or makers of the film, a report by Filmibeat claimed that the South superstar received a whopping amount of Rs. 220 crore. If this is to be believed, Thalapathy is one of the highest-paid actors in Indian cinema. 

How much did Bobby Deol and Pooja Hegde charge for Jana Nayagan?

Apart from the lead, the supporting cast of the film includes Bobby Deol, Pooja Hedge, Mamitha Biju and more. According to the same report by Filmibeat, Bobby Deol, who plays the antagonist in the film, was charged around Rs. 3 crore. Female lead of Jana Nayagan, Pooja Hegde also earned the same as the Animal actor. She too charged Rs. 3 crore. On the other hand, actress, Mamitha Baiju reportedly took Rs. 60 lakhs for the Tamil film.

The massive fees of the director and music composer

The director of the film, Jana Nayagan, H. Vinoth, who is known for handling intense and blockbuster projects reportedly charged Rs 25 crore. On the other hand, the music composer of the film, Anirudh Ravichander has allegedly charged Rs. 13 crore for Jana Nayagan. If these numbers are to be believed, Anirudh is the third highest-paid member of the film.

Jana Nayagan holds a special place in Thalapathy Vijay's heart as this will be his last film before he enters politics. During the audio launch of the film, Thalapathy Vijay had shared that he will be leaving acting only to pursue his political career. He had shared:

"I don't know whether to say it or not, but my last film is a little painful, right? What do you want me to do?"
