Ali also joked that the "little thing" she does for Jalen might be a bit "too much" because of its superstitious angle. According to her LinkedIn profile, she attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017, where she studied kinesiology and exercise science. Following this, Ali Marks earned her degree in 2021 and obtained licenses as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist.

Following her graduation, Ali Marks started working in W.B. Carrell Memorial Clinic in Dallas, Texas. According to the reports, she now runs a boutique physical therapy practice in Westchester. Before becoming a therapist, Alison worked as a rehabilitation aide at Athletico in Chicago, where she assisted therapists and patients. According to her site, her passion is to integrate physical therapy-based methods with conventional strength training to provide a more personalised and effective treatment plan.
