Jake Hall's Ex, Chloe Lewis Expresses Grief Over His Untimely Passing At 35, 'Complete Pain...'

The untimely demise of TV reality star, Jake Hall, at 35, had sent shockwaves throughout the nation. The TV reality star, best known for the show, The Only Way is Essex, tragically passed away on May 6, 2026. According to reports, Jake was found dead at a Spanish holiday villa in Majorca and it was believed that he smashed himself into a glass door. He died due to severe head injuries. A while back, Jake’s ex, Chloe Lewis, expressed her grief over his passing and penned an emotional note.

A while back, Jake Hall’s ex, Chloe Lewis, paid a heartfelt tribute to him. She took to her Instagram handle and penned a lengthy emotional note for him. She described Jake as her first love and her childhood sweetheart. She mentioned that it was Jake who taught her the real meaning of love and life. She wrote:

"My first love, my childhood sweetheart. A love that taught me so much about life and myself, and even more so now your presence is no longer here. A complete pain in the arse most of the time, but always with the purest heart and the greatest soul."

Chloe Lewis highlighted that Jake always wanted a happy home and a loving family. She described Jake as the best dad. The late TV reality star was a father to his daughter, River Bella Hall. She wrote, "I know what you wanted from life… a happy home and a loving family. Being the best dad was the most important thing to you & we always used to speak about it. You did that, Jake, with pride and made it look so easy and effortless."

Chloe became emotional while she mentioned that they parted ways after spending 10 years together. Chloe highlighted that although she and Jake had ups and downs in their relationship, they knew how to come back to each other. She added that they never loved wrong; they just didn’t know how to hold on to each other. She stated that navigating their relationship in front of the public eye was quite challenging. She wrote, "Navigating our young years and being thrown into a reality TV show, being in the public eye wasn’t really what we wanted, but it all just happened so quickly & it took over our relationship. It was a huge struggle for me & mentally hurt us both."

Chloe’s emotional words just reflected the love she has for Jake. His untimely passing broke her heart. Chloe mentioned that Jake would forever remain a massive and special part of her life. Chloe shared that she truly hoped to grow old with him. Chloe stated that she truly wanted to have a day when she and Jake would smile at each other and be grateful that life had been good to them. But God had some other plans. She wrote:

"You were such a massive and special part of my life, and I truly hoped that we would grow old, that I’d see you one day, happy and at peace with life. We’d smile at each other and be grateful that life had been good to us. But now I know that God had better plans for you. Heartache echoes through the world for you Jake."

In the concluding part of her note, Chloe shared that Jake would forever remain in her thoughts. She apologised to him for not being able to save him. She highlighted that everything around her felt quieter since he had gone. She wrote:

"You’ll be in my thoughts forever, and I’m sorry I couldn’t have saved you. ‘The world feels quieter since you’ve been gone, Like somehow all the music is all wrong.’ I hope it’s peaceful up there, and I really hope that one day I get to see you again. Keep shining like you always do. Stay magic."
