For the unversed, granddaughter of veteran actors, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda is a Fordham University graduate and had co-founded a healthcare portal, Aara Health. A few weeks back, Navya Naveli Nanda had made her Instagram account public and since then, we have been witnessing her adorable pictures with her friends and family. Navya is rumoured to be dating Jaaved Jaaferi’s son, Meezaan Jaaferi and their social media banters are unmissable. From pouring wishes on birthdays to lauding one another for their achievements, Navya and Meezan grab a lot of attention due to their camaraderie. When Navya had turned 23 on December 6, 2020, Meezaan had posted her picture on his IG stories and had written, “Happy Birthday” with a black heart emoji atop it.
Now, in an interview with The Times Of India, Jaaved Jaaferi reacted on Meezaan and Navya’s dating rumours. Tagging their relationship as a friendship, Jaaved said, “People want content. Being good friends with somebody is considered to be something else always. These children have grown up together; my daughter and Navya have been friends since school.” Jaaved also shared that tagging celebrity kids is easy as they are often seen together and share a common friends' circle. In his words, “They have a common group of friends. Even Sara Ali Khan and Meezaan were in the same school. They used to come home, hang around till 3 am. It is convenient to link them up as they are always together.”
Grandson of late veteran actor, Jagdeep and son of Jaaved Jaaferi, Meezan Jafferi had begun his career in Bollywood as an Assistant Director for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film, Bajirao Mastani. In 2019, he had made his Bollywood debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production venture, Malaal. On January 30, 2021, Navya Naveli Nanda had taken to her IG stories and had shared a picture of Meezaan posing with his trophy and certificate as he had won the Best Debut Award for his film, Malaal. Atop the adorable picture, she had written, “Congratulations!!!” Meezaan, on the other hand, had shared the same picture on his IG handle and had written, "Thank you for this @timesofindia. This one is for all the #Malaal fans. #bestdebutantperformer." On his post, Navya had dropped an adorable comment and had written, "Yay". Navya and Meezaan’s social media banter often becomes the talk of the town. For instance, a few days ago, Navya had posted a picture of herself, sitting on the rooftop with her face covered with her hair. Meezan was quick to drop an adorable comment with a request for Navya. Ms Nanda had captioned her post as "Fiddler on the roof.” On which, Meezan had commented, "Can you show your face?” Stating another instance of their social media banter, on October 28, 2020, Meezaan had taken to his IG handle and had shared a picture of himself from the streets of Venice. He had looked handsome in his casual best and had captioned the picture as “Yahaan se left tha ki right?” On Meezaan’s picture, Navya had commented, “Nice kicks.” But Meezaan’s reply to Navya had caught our attention. Revealing that it was a gift from his rumoured ladylove, Navya, he had written, “@navyananda best gift” followed by a heart emoticon.
