She had stoken many hearts with her dance number, Mera Piya Ghar Aaya, O Ramji, and became the love of the nation with that enchanting smile of hers. The ruling queen of the 90s, Madhuri had met Dr Nene on her brother, Ajit Dixit’s request. After several meetings, they had become friends and rest as they say is history. It was sheer love because of which, Madhuri had decided to settle down with Shriram during the peak of her career and the one interesting fact was that Shriram was completely unaware of the super-stardom of his wife when they had gotten married on October 17, 1999.
On February 7, 2021, Madhuri Dixit Nene took to her IG handle and shared glimpses of hubby, Shriram Nene’s pre-birthday celebrations with friends and family. In the picture, Shriram can be seen posing with two cakes and posing along his friends and family. Along with the picture, Madhuri wrote, “Pre-birthday celebrations for Ram with our near & dear ones in a social bubble amidst nature with all necessary precautions. Simple joys of life.” On the other hand, Shriram shared a picture as he cut the cake with Madhuri and their sons, Arin and Ryan. He captioned the picture as “Nothing like a prebday bash with friends and family in a COVID safe bubble. Amazing to hangout with everyone!”
On February 6, 2021, Shriram had shared an adorable picture with Madhuri on his IG handle and had penned a heartmelting note for her. His note could be read as “Nothing like a pre-birthday celebration with the ones you love in a bubble in nature.” In the picture, Madhuri had looked stunning in her black attire whereas, Shriram had opted for a casual look. In a throwback interview with Simi Garewal for her show, Rendezvous with Simi Garewal, Madhuri Dixit had revealed that she used to wake up early just to cook for her husband. She had stated, "I used to make breakfast for my husband when he was in cardiovascular surgery. I used to wake up at 5:30, make breakfast for him, of course he used to leave for work and I used to go back to sleep for some time. I savoured every minute of it."
On October 17, 2020, Madhuri and Shriram had completed 21 years of marital bliss. To wish her darling husband, Madhuri had taken to her IG handle and had shared beautiful pictures with him. Along with the pictures, she had written, “Today marks the beginning of another year, full of adventures with the man of my dreams. We are so different yet so alike & I am grateful to have you in my life. Happy Anniversary to you & us Ram."
