Snehal Rai is a popular television actress, anchor, event manager and entrepreneur. She has worked in some popular TV shows like Ishq Ka Rang Safed, Vish, Icchapyaari Naagin, Janmo Ka Bandhan, Perfect Pati, The Great Indian Global Kitchen and more. Currently, the diva is hitting all the headlines for her personal life. The actress recently made a startling revelation about her relationship status and mentioned that she has been married for ten years.
In an interview with ETimes, Snehal Rai opened up about her relationship status and revealed that she has been happily married for ten years to a politician named Madhvendra Rai. Talking more about her marriage, the actress stated that she never kept her marriage under wraps however, she didn't feel the need to announce it. Snehal also shared that since she is going to participate in a pageant for married women, she felt it's the best time to talk about her marriage. In her words:
"I never kept my marriage under the wraps but I never spoke about it. I am Snehal Rai and it was never necessary for me to say I am Mrs. Snehal Rai. But I am participating in a pageant for married women so I felt now is the time to say that I am 'Mrs.' As a wife, I am very happy but that is not my only identity."

Further, in the same interview, Snehal revealed that she was only 23 when she got married. The actress also shared that she believes that marriage is not a barrier to anyone's career. Talking about her husband, she mentioned that he is like a friend to her and they share a great bond. Snehal also stated that she is just like any other woman who loves to cook and take care of her husband. Stating how her husband is supportive of her career, the actress mentioned that he understands her work place.
In the same conversation, Snehal opened up about her husband, Madhvendra's background and mentioned that he is from Uttar Pradesh and belongs to a cultured family. Heaping praises on her husband, the actress revealed that he treats her like a queen and always inspires her to do better. Elaborating more about it, she said:
"My husband's name is Madhvendra Kumar Rai. He is from UP and belongs to a beautiful cultured family. I am very happy to be part of the Rai family. He once told me, 'You are my Queen. Go and work like a Queen. You succeed or not, you will always rule my heart as a Queen'. These words have inspired me so much and it is overwhelming."
For the unversed, Snehal and Madhvendra first met at an event in Delhi, where she was an anchor and he was a VIP guest. Later, the duo spent some time at a dinner and on the flight. The actress even did 10-12 shows for his event company and eventually, she fell in love with him. Talking about her marriage in the interview, Snehal revealed that neither of them proposed to each other, rather their wedding was fixed by their families. She also talked about her long-distance relationship with her husband and mentioned that they meet each other whenever they get time.

Earlier, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Snehal had opened up about witnessing domestic violence at home and her parent's separation. Talking about the same, the actress revealed how her mother walked out of the house with her and her sister after facing domestic violence for a long time. She also mentioned that after leaving her father's home, they lived in a chawl with basic amenities.
