One of the richest men on this planet, Mukesh Ambani and his ‘more than just a billionaire’s wife’, Nita Ambani’s daughter, Isha Ambani had added the surname ‘Piramal’ to her name after tying the knot with her beau, Anand Piramal on December 12, 2018. It isn’t an unknown fact that the Ambanis have truly lived up to their surname when it came to their daughter’s wedding, but do you know how much they had spent on the celebrations of over a period of almost one week. Believe it or not, as per a Bloomberg report, the family of Richie Rich’s had spent around $15 million, which estimates up to a whopping amount of Rs 70 crore for the wedding!
US rapper and the ‘See You Again’ hitmaker, Wiz Khalifa performed at the Jio Gardens, Mumbai on September 15, 2019, and enthralled the music lovers with his live concert. Wiz is in India as the opener for the 13th season of Sunburn Arena. Isha Ambani Piramal and Anand Piramal attended the concert and aced their casual avatars for the night. While Isha looked gorgeous in a powder blue-coloured top and white palazzos, Anand kept it simple in a black tee and beige-coloured shorts.
In a post-marriage interview with Vogue, the heiress of Reliance had revealed many important facts from her wedding and of course, her hubby, Anand Piramal. Confessing that they are rather two different souls as a couple, Isha Ambani Piramal had stated, “He hates attending events, I enjoy them. I really enjoyed our wedding, but it was not exactly his idea of fun (laughs). He’s more spiritual than I am. But we are also very similar. We are both very family-oriented, and we both love food. I remember in one of the speeches that my father gave at my wedding, he listed ten reasons why he liked Anand. It was hilarious, and dad concluded by saying that these are probably the same ten things that he would also use to describe himself. She didn’t stop at this! Isha Ambani Piramal had also revealed the reasons that make her hubby, Anand Piramal, a great life partner. She had remarked, “I love his amazing sense of humour and his spirituality.” The newbie bride also shared if the work-life balance has changed after her marriage and had stated, “Last night, we had dinner, and then from 11 pm to 3 am Anand had a meeting in his office. So, I don’t think his life has changed, and neither has mine. At this stage, work is a priority for both of us. And luckily, our parents understand that. Fortunately, the family I was born into and the family I married into have the same work ethic—every member of both families knows the importance of work.”
Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding was such that the world will not forget it for the longest of time. Speaking about her big fat Gujju wedding, Isha had stated, “The wedding went off beautifully. Like any other bride, I had my share of bridal jitters but getting married at home made it very special and I had the time of my life celebrating my most memorable moments with all the people I love.”
