Something similar happened last weekend when Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s daughter, Isha Ambani got engaged to Anand Piramal at Lake Como, Italy on September 22, 2018. The three-day event, from September 21, 2018, to September 23, 2018, hosted their guests in the classiest ways possible, and the Ambanis, who are known to do everything in style, left no stone unturned to make the affair worth remembering for a lifetime.
Speaking of class and style, the one thing at Isha Ambani’s engagement which was the catchiest was her gown. Yes, you might have seen her engagement gown in the many leaked videos and images which have gone viral on social media. Do you know that Isha Ambani’s engagement gown is from a rare collection of Dolce and Gabbana? The famous and luxurious Italian fashion house’s 2017 collection had one piece of Alta Moda macramé lace gown with floral and crystal embroidery which Isha wore on her engagement.

Wow! Really, when it comes to the Ambanis there is no match, right? The videos and pics from Isha and Anand’s engagement must have given you a fair idea of how extraordinary the entire affair was. From fireworks over the beautiful Lake Como with the beautiful Alps behind to the mesmerising flower show as the two exchange the rings, only prove that this engagement would be imprinted on our minds forever.
For those who do not know, Anand Piramal is the son of the Indian businessman, philanthropist and social entrepreneur, Ajay Piramal. Ajay is the Chairman of the Piramal Group, a group of companies which deals in financial services, healthcare analytics, pharma, glass packaging, along with many others. Anand, on the other hand, is a graduate from Harvard Business School and has also studied Economics at the University of Pennsylvania, and runs two start-ups- Piramal Realty and a rural healthcare start-up - Piramal eSwasthya.
Anand had proposed to Isha in May 2018 at Mahabaleshwar over a family lunch. As soon as the families were back to Mumbai, the Ambanis hosted a grand engagement bash for the two at their residence, Antilia.
As for Isha, the 26-year-old is the twin sister of Akash Ambani and is currently on the boards of Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail. Isha holds a graduate degree from Yale University in psychology and South Asian studies. She will soon be completing her Master in Business Administration programme from the Graduate School of Business, Stanford.
It seems that soon weddings will be raining at the Ambanis residence. After all, Akash Ambani also recently got engaged to Shloka Mehta and their wedding is supposed to take place by the end of 2018.
