Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani ‘s daughter, Isha Ambani is all set to tie the knot with her long-time beau, Anand Piramal, son of Ajay Piramal and Swati Piramal. After a romantic proposal in Mahabaleshwar, Isha and Anand are ready to take the plunge and become each other’s forever on December 12, 2018, at former’s residence, Antilia. On October 30, 2018, Ambanis and Piramals finally made the official announcement of Isha and Anand’s marriage.
After their extravagant and lavish engagement ceremony at Lake Como, Italy, Isha and Anand’s much-anticipated wedding is going to be the most high-profile wedding of 2018. A few days ago, Isha and Anand’s wedding invite went viral online, but we only got a glimpse of the exquisite invitation box with the initials of the bride and groom “IA” embossed on top of the box.
After the teaser of Isha and Anand’s invitation card, we have now got our hands on the complete wedding invite and this expensive piece surely is a treat to the eyes. The invite contains the itinerary of the wedding functions and it also contains a box embossed with golden embroidery, which once opened, plays the tune of the Gayatri Mantra. Apart from that, there are four other small boxes as well with gifts, which looks like are made of gold. Through their wedding invite, the soon-to-be-married couple has dedicated a flower to each of their grandmothers – the Lotus to Kokila Mummy, the Hibiscus to Purnima Nani, the Rose to Lalita Dadi and the Frangipani to Arunika Nani – each flower symbolising the virtues of purity, positivity, passion and prosperity. While Isha and Anand’s wedding promises a lavish affair, their wedding card is reportedly worth Rs 3 lakh, as per a Hindustan Times report.
The official statement by Ambanis and Piramals could be read as, "We are delighted to share that the marriage of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal will take place in the residence of Shri Mukesh Ambani and Smt. Nita Ambani in Mumbai with family members and close friends on 12th December, 2018. The ceremonies will be performed in accordance with Indian traditions, customs and culture."
It could further be read as, "During the weekend prior to the wedding, the Ambani and Piramal families will host their friends and family in Udaipur, where they are partnering with artisans and craftsmens to integrate local culture and traditions into the festivities. Both families seek the blessings and good wishes of everyone for Isha and Anand as they start their journey of togetherness. Nita and Mukesh Ambani Swati and Ajay Piramal".
Just like their tradition, the Ambanis before starting anything new visited the temple to seek God’s blessings. Recently, Isha’s parents, Mukesh and Nita Ambani along with her brother, Anant Ambani and dadi, Kokilaben went to the Siddhivinayak Temple, to offer her wedding invitation card and pray for Isha and Anand.
