Selena Gomez Unfollows Brooklyn Beckham Post Nicola Peltz Deletes Their IG Pics And 'Throuple' Saga

Pop star, Selena Gomez has always hogged the spotlight when it comes to her personal relationship. She is known for having a very close-knit friendship with Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz. However, with the growing upheaval in each other's lives, it seems that their friendship might have hit a roadblock, with fans speculating that Brooklyn Beckham has seemingly unfollowed Selena Gomez on IG. 

Did Brooklyn Beckham really unfollow Selena Gomez on Instagram? 

With both Brooklyn Beckham and Selena Gomez boasting massive followings on Instagram, the internet sleuths among their fans always keep an eye out to see who has unfollowed whom and if it means that the dynamics between the celebrities have changed. Recently, while rumours had been abuzz that Brooklyn had unfollowed Selena, fans quickly noticed that it was actually the opposite. They noticed that the Only Murders in the Building star has officially unfollowed Brooklyn, her close friend, despite still following his wife, Nicola Anne Peltz Beckham. 

What might have caused Selena Gomez, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz to fall out?

For those who have been following Selena, Nicola, and Brooklyn's friendship from the start might be aware that a few years ago, in January 2023, they famously labelled themselves a “throuple.” Taking to Instagram, Selena wrote, “Fine call us a throuple #foreverplusone.” Later, when the Wolves singer began dating her now-husband, Benny Blanco, the two pairs even went on double dates together. However, late last year, in 2025, many began noticing a shift in their dynamics, like missing each other's important events. For instance, Selena decided to skip Brooklyn and Nicola's summer vow renewal ceremony. Later, the couple were nowhere to be seen at Selena's wedding. 

It is worth noting that Nicola Peltz has recently deleted not just one or two but all of her pictures with her friend, Selena, on Instagram. This was enough to convince many that the trio had fallen out. Now, the speculations have intensified even further with Selena unfollowing Brooklyn Beckham. Some fans even believe that the “throuple” joke from 2023 may have gone too far. They think that there are high chances Nicola felt uncomfortable with Selena over time because of this. Although, as of now, neither Selena nor Nicola has said anything to confirm that this is true.

The news of Selena unfollowing Brooklyn Beckham comes on the heels of the viral rumour that the singer and her husband, Benny Blanco, had broken up. In fact, some social media users claimed that the two no longer follow each other on Instagram. However, the rumour was soon proven false as the pair still follow each other on IG and are happily married. 

It is worth mentioning that Selena might have been aware of the rumour, leading her to shut down the same with a post on her Instagram handle. The actress shared a series of pictures, with the first one being her in a black dress as she clicked a mirror selfie. In another snap, Selena was seen showing off the pink balloon dress, the same one which created a lot of rumours about her pregnancy.

The rest of the pictures in the carousel showed Selena and Benny together, with one being taken at their home, where they were seen making toast, and another photo of the two taken at a party. Putting the rumours of their divorce and then having unfollowed each other on Instagram, Selena proudly captioned the post, “Mrs Blanco.”
