Being a parent is one of the most wonderful feelings in an individual's life. After a long wait of nine months, when a parent gets the chance to hold their little munchkin for the first time, it feels surreal. A similar feeling has taken over Indian cricketer, Irfan Pathan and his wife, Safa Baig, who embraced parenthood for the second time with the arrival of their baby boy.
For the unversed, the handsome cricketer, Irfan Pathan had said Qubool Hai to the Jeddah-based model, Safa Baig on February 3, 2016. After more than a month later, Irfan and Safa had hosted a wedding reception for their friends from the cricket fraternity. On December 20, 2016, Irfan and Safa had welcomed a baby boy, whom they have named, Imran Pathan.

A few moments back, Irfan Pathan took to his IG handles to announce the birth of his baby boy. The Indian cricketer shared an adorable picture of himself holding his son in his arms and delighted his fans with the good news. In the caption, he revealed the sweet name of his son and revealed that they have named their son as Suleiman Khan. His note can be read as:
"Safa and I welcome our baby boy SULEIMAN KHAN. Both baby and mother are fine and healthy. #blessings."
On February 3, 2021, Irfan Pathan and Safa Baig had completed five years of marital bliss. Irfan Pathan had taken to his IG handle and had shared an adorable picture with Safa. In the picture, the husband-wife duo had twinned in white while happily posing for the camera. Along with the picture, Irfan had written a heartmelting wish for his wife which could be read as:
“Happy wedding anniversary my darling. I still remember the moment i met you for the first time, that feeling hasn’t changed a bit #loveyou #anniversary #safairfan.”

In an interview with The Times of India, post his wedding with Safa Baig, Irfan Pathan had thanked everyone for the wishes and had expressed:
"Miya-biwi ka rishta bahut hi khoobsurat hota hai and it feels fantastic to start this new innings of my life. Uparwale ka bada ehsaan hai and I, Safa and all our family members are very happy today. I am also thankful that my friends, cricketers with whom I have played, seniors and well-wishers from outside the cricket fraternity and even abroad have come to my hometown to bless us on this day. I couldn't have asked for more and with all their blessings, I am sure that we will have a great journey ahead."
In January 2020, Irfan had announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. However, his name is always going to be remembered amongst the best cricketers in the first decade of the 21st century. Following his retirement, his wife, Safa, who manages their son, Imran Pathan's Instagram handle had posted a cute note on his IG handle that could be read as:
"You are a STAR! You’ve been a source of inspiration to millions and continue to spread your ray of sunshine everywhere you go! Your triumph is etched in our hearts! To new beginnings, many more chapters & feathers to add in your cap! Thank You daddy, for being YOU #2020 #irfanpathan."
