Aamir Khan and his ex-wife, Reena Dutta's daughter, Ira Khan is all set to get married to the love of her life, Nupur Sikhare on January 3, 2024. For the unversed, it was in February 2021, when Ira made her relationship official with Aamir’s fitness trainer, Nupur Shikhare, and since then, they have been living together. Moreover, they got engaged in 2022. Now, the two lovebirds performed their first pre-wedding ceremony together, amidst close friends and family, and painted the town red with their love-filled moments.
On November 3, 2023, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's wedding festivities began with their kelvan ceremony, which is an important ritual in the Maharashtrian culture. Here, the bride and groom's family get together and gift the couple along with a shower of blessing. For the ceremony, Ira opted for a beautiful pink leheriya saree and teamed her look with simple makeup, jhumkas, a Maharashtrian nath and open messy tresses. On the other hand, Nupur looked handsome in a printed kurta paired with denim pants. In one of the pictures shared by Nupur on his IG story, he was seen feeding food to his lady love while Ira looked in awe of him.

After Ira and Nupur's kelvan took place, she also shared some stunning photos from her first pre-wedding ceremony on her Instagram handle, which are simply unmissable. In one of the pictures, we can also spot Reena Dutta and Nupur's mother, Pritam Shikhare conversing with their relatives. The happiness was simply visible on their faces. Popular actress, Mithila Palkar, who is Ira's close friend, was also present at her kelvan ceremony, among others.
On June 3, 2023, Ira gave a glimpse into her wedding preparations. Taking to her IG handle, she posted a series of pictures captured in May 2023, which featured some candid moments of Ira with her fiance, Nupur, her step-mother, Kiran Rao and her friend, Fatima Shaikh. However, it was the picture of the soon-to-be bride preparing her wedding cards that caught our attention. In the picture, Aamir Khan's daughter was sitting on the floor and writing names on what looked like her wedding card.

It was on November 18, 2022, when Ira Khan exchanged rings with her boyfriend, Nupur Shikhare, and the ceremony was nothing less than a fairytale. For the engagement bash, Ira donned a strapless red-coloured gown and looked like a princess. She completed her look with a statement necklace, a pair of earrings, dewy makeup and a bun hairdo. On the other hand, Nupur looked dapper in a black tuxedo with a white shirt underneath and a bow.
