The pop sensation and the NFL star, both 36, had a lavish wedding, exchanging vows in front of nearly a thousand guests. While it may have been one of the most star-studded weddings in recent memory, not everyone is impressed with the extravagant decor inside Madison Square Garden.
While celebrity guests described the venue as a magical "secret garden," leaked photos from the celebration have divided the internet, with many social media users calling the aesthetic "tacky" and "cheesy."

For their summer wedding, the newlyweds transformed the iconic New York arena into a whimsical indoor garden, complete with towering trees, floral arrangements, pink drapes, oversized greenery, a massive gazebo, a photo wall, and custom monogrammed decor. Guests were also given T&T handkerchiefs at the intimate garden wedding.
Guests later shared glimpses of the venue on Instagram. Personal trainer Rob Jordan's wife, Joann Jordan, posted photos from the wedding, showing grand staircases draped in white and blush-pink curtains, with pink carpet on the stairs. DJ Chop UFL also shared images from the celebration, calling it "The secret garden" and describing it as "an unbelievable celebration and experience."
Outlets like Page Six and the Daily Mail also shared photos of the wedding decor, including a custom 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible with a license plate reading "JST&T MRD" outside the venue, suggesting it may have been the car the newlyweds drove off in.
The internet isn't sold on the lavish setup
While those inside the venue praised the atmosphere, social media users had a very different reaction after leaked photos of the decor surfaced online. Many felt the elaborate indoor garden looked more like a movie set than a luxury wedding venue, with many alleging that the decor looked more "tacky" and "cheap" than aesthetic or grand.
The leaked photos from the stadium sparked widespread discussion online, with one X user writing, "I don't understand why they didn't do it in a place that resembles that one. Seeing the chairs behind it kinda takes away all the charm." Another joked, "God loves Taylor, but I feel like it's a mix between the VMAs and the Hall of Fame." And an even harsher criticism came from a user who wrote, "Everything's so tacky."
Instagram users were equally divided. Reacting to the T&T themed decorations, one user described it as "soap opera cheesy," adding that it looked like "those fake garden scenes on The Bachelor, only on a larger scale." Another called the setup "a cheap set circus than a wedding," while someone else admitted they believed it was beautiful but still considered it "gauche."
However, those who actually attended the wedding have a much different take on the wedding decor. Guests like Joseph Kahn called the wedding "funnier and more emotional than expected" despite hosting nearly 1,000 guests.
Taylor and Travis' wedding ceremony was a massive union of A-list celebrities, a reason that some called it "the next MET Gala." The crowd featured the Love Story singer's close friends, including Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Hugh Grant, Bradley Cooper, Sabrina Carpenter, Dakota Johnson, Gigi Hadid, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Karlie Kloss, Tom Brady, and many more. Taylor's ex, Harry Styles' fiancée, Zoe Kravitz, was also in attendance, but the former skipped the party for his ongoing tour.
Taylor walked down the aisle in a custom Christian Dior Haute Couture gown designed by Jonathan Anderson, paired with Christian Louboutin shoes and Cartier jewelry, while Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony.
