Legendary singer and composer, AR Rahman's daughter, Khatija Rahman had started her forever journey with the love of her life, Riyasdeen Shaikh Mohamed on May 5, 2022. For the unversed, the couple had got engaged on December 29, 2021, in an intimate celebration. After delighting her massive fanbase with drool-worthy glimpses from her wedding, Khatija and her hubby, Riyasdeen hosted a reception party for their friends and family members.
To share her happiness with the world, Khatija Rahman had posted a photo with her husband, Riyasdeen on her IG handle. In the picture, while Khatija had donned a cream-coloured suit paired with a dupatta and a matching mask, on the other hand, her groom had looked dapper in a bandhgala sherwani. Sharing the beautiful picture, Khatija had written the caption as:
"The most awaited day in my life. Married to my man @riyasdeenriyan."

A few moments back, taking to his IG handle, AR Rahman shared a beautiful video from his daughter, Khatija Rahman's wedding reception. For the event, the newlywedded couple complemented each other in their ethnic ensembles and looked picture-perfect. While Khatija looked gorgeous in a maroon-coloured suit, her husband, Riyasdeen looked dapper in a blue-coloured bandhgala sherwani. In the video, the couple can be seen posing for the camera with their family pictures, and their smiles speak volumes about their happiness. Sharing the video, the doting father penned:
"Khatija and Riaz’s reception."
The video also gave us a sneak peek into the reception venue, which was beautifully lit up with night lights. From exotic chandeliers to pink-hued hall lights, the entire venue was completely decked up as far as the eye could see. Thousands of guests were seen gathered to celebrate the couple's beautiful union. Apart from that, we can also see 3D patterns in the backdrop of the stage, where the couple was sitting. The video also showed us a glimpse of the sufi and classical performances being performed by some talented artists.

Earlier, on May 5, 2022, AR Rahman had shared the first-ever picture from his daughter, Khatija's wedding ceremony. In the picture, we could see AR Rahman along with his wife, Saira Banu, and their children, Ameen and Rahima, posing with the newlyweds. The picture had also shown us a photo frame of Rahman's mother, Kareema kept beside the newlywedded couple. Sharing the picture, the singer had penned:
"May the Almighty bless the couple .. thanking you in advance for your good wishes and love @khatija.rahman @riyasdeenriyan #nikkahceremony #marriage."
