Gone are the days when brides used to keep their look subtle for their pre-wedding festivities and would deck up for their wedding day. Nowadays, the bride wants to look on point for every function. Recently, the influencer bride, Niki Mehra has been painting the social media red with her wedding festivities. Her every outfit is an art in itself. Let's take a look at her three pre-wedding functions and what she wore on it!
The bride of the week, Niki Mehra is a fashion entrepreneur and a digital content creator. The gorgeousness had tied the knot with her longtime beau, Sid Madan. For the sagan ceremony, the bride had opted for a unique traditional ensemble from a Pakistani designer. Her outfit comprised of a Pakistani peplum style choli with tassel detailing on her sleeves, which was teamed with a matching gharara and a contrasting dupatta.
The bride had accentuated her look with polki and ruby neckpiece, and matching earrings from the Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas jewellers. She had looked ethereal in that She had looked ethereal in the outfit. Her look was completed with rosy pink cheeks, kohl-rimmed eyes with layers of mascara, nude-toned lips and her hair half-tied at the back.
However, sourcing the outfit from Pakistan wasn't easy for the bride, Niki. She had shared the struggles of the same in a long post on her Instagram handle. The bride had revealed that she had booked a digital appointment to select the outfit. She had also shared how her then-husband-to-be had picked the outfit from Dubai to India. A snippet from her post could be read as:
"So I selected the outfit through a virtual appointment at their Lahore store and the designer’s team was a sweetheart! They showed me the entire collection and helped me select an outfit. Once that was done, we had to decide how to ship this heavy outfit to India. Most packages are routed via Dubai and take around 10-15 working days."
For the dhol night, the bride had opted for a contrasting Punjabi suit from the label, Heena Kochhar. Her outfit had featured a purple-hued kurta with red salwar and a heavy yellow dupatta with kiran border. She had added more charm to her look with chandbalis, a maang teeka, and colourful bangles, which were brought by her father.
The bride's makeup was kept minimal yet striking with pink glitter eyeshadow, pink-hued cheeks and glossy lips. She had added more charm to her look with golden Punjabi jutti. Her braided hairstyle adorned with broch had completed her look.
For the sundowner bash, the bride had picked a unique white-hued lacey dress from the label, Geisha Designs. It had featured a deep sweetheart neckline with a thigh-high slit perfect for her to dance all through the night. Another highlight of her gown was the 3D hand-embroidered applique flower detailing that was running all over the gown.
The bride had accentuated her look with diamond earrings and a bracelet. Her white-hued heena had added more charm to her look. Subtle makeup with soft smokey eyes and wavy hair adorned with customised flower accessories had made her look like a fairy.
