In 2011, she appeared in the Bollywood film, Delhi Belly and later in 2013, she was a part of the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer film, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. Simone Ashwini Pillai, better known as Simone Ashley is an Indian-origin, British actress. She was born to Tamil Indian parents, and has been second-generation emigrants from their homeland. She got her first break in CBBC’s teen drama, Wolfblood. However, it took the comedy drama, Sex Education to come into her way, which established her as a popular actress. In 2021, Simone delivered her breakthrough performance in the Regency period-drama, Bridgerton’s second series, The Viscount Who Loved Me, which was lauded by audiences worldwide.
