Bollywood actress, Ileana D'Cruz and her beau, Michael Dolan embraced parenthood for the first time on August 1, 2023, when they welcomed their baby boy. The lovebirds named their baby boy, Koa Phoenix Dolan and have been merrily living together since then. Being an avid social media user, the doting mommy also keeps sharing lovely glimpses from her baby boy's growing period, and we just can't stop loving them.
Now, Ileana D'Cruz took to her IG stories and shared a lovely monochrome picture from her pregnancy days. The mirror selfie was clicked inside a bathroom, wherein she was seen showing off her then-slightly grown baby bump. She was wearing a black-hued bikini and looked gorgeous. Further, sharing that she was 4 months pregnant at that time, she wrote:
"A year ago, about 4 months pregnant."

In an old interaction with ETimes, Ileana shared how fast her life changed after welcoming her bundle of joy, Koa, into her life. Recalling the year 2023, the actress revealed that most of her time was invested in shifting her base to the US amid her pregnancy. Moreover, she added how she wished to work throughout her pregnancy journey but couldn’t do so since she had some complications. She said:
“Last year went by so quickly. I found out I was pregnant by the end of November 2022. Most of 2023 was around my pregnancy and moving base here in the US. I am very thankful to my mom for being there for me, I couldn’t have done anything without her. I had a few complications so I had to take it easy. I thought I would work during my pregnancy but my doctors asked me to rest it out. It was just a big happy bubble for me. It is just crazy how much your life shifts when you have a child.”
Further, in the same conversation, the actress shared that she suffered from postpartum depression. She also recalled a specific incident, wherein the actress had turned emotional and cried just because her son was in another room and she missed him. Crediting how her partner, Michael Dolan stood like a strong pillar of strength for her, she said:
“Topics like mom guilt are so real. I remember I was in my room, and I started crying. My partner asked me what was wrong and I told him, ‘I know it sounds really stupid but my son is sleeping in the other room, and I am missing him.’ So, there are these intense emotions you go through after having a baby. I still am going through it. I am thankful that Mike (Michael Dolan) is such an amazing partner. I don’t need to explain things to him. He makes me take a break and looks after the baby before I join in again.”

On Christmas 2023, Ileana and Michael celebrated the festival for the first time with their baby boy, Koa. Thus, the actress then took to her IG handle and shared an array of glimpses from the same. In the glimpses, we got a sneak peek into Ileana's Christmas celebration aesthetics, including a beautifully decorated X-mass tree, customised Koa named balls, socks, cherry-filled red wine, and more. Ileana's photo dump also gave a cute glimpse of a monochrome picture of the lovebirds, Ileana and Michael. Moreover, although in none of the pictures, Koa's full glimpse was seen, he looked cute as a button, showing off his bare pink little feet, hands and head. Sharing the photos, Ileana wrote:
"My heart is full and I’m so thankful and fortunate to be able to spend Christmas with my new little family. Sending love and joy to everyone who needs it."
