In her memoir, Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself, she talked about how she had an encounter with Hugh Hefner at the Playboy Mansion as a college student. She revealed that he had invited her to a Halloween party.
Soon, she found herself in Hugh's bedroom with other women. She revealed that she never thought that they would have an intimate moment in Hugh's room. She also claimed that she had been drinking, but she didn't feel drunk as she was intoxicated with the mysterious details of Playboy Mansion.
Crystal revealed that she was given silk pajamas to change into. She also added that there was no kissing, romance, or intimacy involved. It was an odd and robotic experience. She revealed it looked like Hefner was just going through a sequence that once felt fun and sexy. Crystal revealed that she was the second woman Hugh got into bed with.
Crystal revealed her body wasn't ready, but it didn't matter. She recalled the moment, feeling nothing, and how Hugh didn't even look at her once. Crystal revealed that there was nothing sexy about the whole act and then realized it wasn't about making love but about power and control.
Hugh Hefner died at the age of 91 at his LA home from natural causes. He left USD 5 million in the name of Crystal and a lavish home in the Hollywood Hills, which had five bedrooms and an outdoor infinity pool with a modern kitchen. It also has a screening room and games room with a poker table and a pool.

He stayed a bachelor for almost three decades before settling down with Kimberley Conrad. They had two sons named Marston and Cooper. The couple got divorced after 11 years.
Crystal Hefner clearly stated that she regretted marrying Hugh Hefner. She claimed that she regretted marrying one of the most famous men in the world and thinking that she made it, but in reality she made herself look smaller for his world to look bigger. She said:
"But yes, I regret it. I regret being in my mid-20s and thinking that marrying one of the most famous men in the world meant that I had finally made it, that I finally mattered or had value. I regret the years I spent making myself smaller so his world could feel bigger."
Crystal regretted that she learned to stay quiet when she should have spoken out. She abandoned herself to survive in the environment, and it took her years to understand what was actually happening to her. She revealed that people never wanted her to express her emotions and forever remain the grateful young wife and the lucky girl.
