The ninth edition of the esteemed Mister Global pageant was held in Maha Sarakham, Thailand, on November 26, 2023. The event brought great pride to India as Jason Dylan Bretfelean was crowned the winner of the prestigious male pageant. Juan Carlos Ariosa of Cuba handed over the crown to Jason of India at the end of the event, as he became the new titleholder.
The Mister Global 2023 ceremony took place in Thailand, with a total of 36 men vying for the title. India’s Jason Bretfelean won, while Hong Kong's Oliver Cheung was named first runner-up. The second, third, and fourth runners-up were Alvaro Flores Carvajal from Chile, Kevin Davalos Tai from Taiwan, and Le Huu Dat from Vietnam, respectively. The event was hosted by Anusith Sangnimnuan and Mister International 2023, Kim Thitisan Goodburn.

Mister Global 2023, Jason Dylan Bretfelean is currently a student of Business administration, sprinter, drummer, model and beauty king from Hyderabad, Telangana. The newly crowned is a certified grade 7 drummer recognised by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) based in London. During the interview round, he revealed that he has been drumming for the past 14 years, and he feels music has been a great way to express his emotions. He also thanked his parents for encouraging him to take up this extracurricular activity.
Jason also used to play football and has played pro football in Bucharest, Romania. Unfortunately, due to a serious injury on his knee two years back, he left playing, as stated during the interview round in the male pageant. He added that this hardship in his life and his strong mentality helped him be on the global stage.
Jason, who is 19 years old, holds the distinction of being the youngest participant in the Rubaru Mr. India competition. He won the competition held in Goa in August 2023. He is a multi-talented individual, with a passion for sports, business, and modelling. He has even competed in the Ironman triathlon that was held in Goa in November 2022.

At present, he has a strong social media presence, with over 49.6K followers on his official Instagram profile. He is a polyglot and can fluently speak four languages, English, Hindi, Romanian, and Telugu. Jason has diverse interests, including cooking, playing football, meditation, gymming, and trekking. He also wishes to contribute to the country's education sector. Moreover, along with his parents, he has lent his helping hands to various NGOs that strive to improve the lives of underprivileged children and the less fortunate.
The official page of Rubaru Mr India posted a pride-filled post for the winner of Mister Global 2023, Jason Dylan Bretfelean. They mentioned that the 19-year-old Jason has made history for India. They captioned the post as:
