Popular Indian poet and writer, Kumar Vishwas needs no introduction as he is one of the very few Hindi poets in the country, who are not just popular among the older audiences but is also hugely popular amongst the youth. Kumar Vishwas was born in a middle-class family in Kanpur on February 10, 1970, to his parents, Chandra Pal Sharma and Rama Sharma. No one in their wildest dream would have imagined that time that an engineering drop-out would go on to rule the hearts of millions of Indians with his words and voice.
Just like his filmy-professional life, Kumar Vishwas' love story with his wife, Manju Sharma, is also quite dreamy. From falling in love with each other during their lecturing days in college to tying the knot against their families' wishes, Kumar Vishwas and Manju's love story is a treasure for the lovers of old school romance. However, before jumping on it, let's briefly talk about Kumar Vishwas' rise from leaving engineering to reciting Hindi poems in the US, the UK, Japan, Dubai, Oman, and many other countries.
From an early age, Kumar Vishwas was a bright student, and as a result, his father, Chandra Pal Sharma, had advised him to do engineering. The man born to be a poet had agreed and had taken admission in Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College. Kumar Vishwas had developed an interest in Hindi literature during his college days, and weeks had turned into months. Soon, he had decided to pursue Hindi literature instead of engineering.
Although Kumar Vishwas' parents were never in favour of him leaving engineering and pursuing his passion for Hindi literature, they had not stopped him from risking it all for his passion. Well, Kumar Vishwas' love for literature had paid off as after years of hard work and constant dedication; he had attained a PhD in Hindi literature. Fast forward to today, Kumar Vishwas is the poster face of Hindi literature in the eyes of the youth of this country, courtesy to his incredible poems, shayari and contribution in popularising Hindi sahitya among youngsters.
Some of the most notable works of Kumar Vishwas includes the likes of Ek Pagli Ladki Ke Bin, Koi Deewana Kehta Hai, Hothon Par Ganga Ho and Phir Meri Yaad. He is also famous for working as a presenter in the musical poetry series, Tarpan. While Kumar Vishwas' professional life is full of immense fame and recognition, his love story with his wife, Manju Sharma, is nothing less than the script of a Hindi film. Let's jump straight into it!
In 1994, Kumar Vishwas had gone to Rajasthan to work as a Hindi lecturer in a college and was quite nervous about it, as it was the beginning of a whole new chapter in his professional life. However, during his time in the college, one fine day, Kumar Vishwas had met Manju Sharma, who was also a lecturer in the same college, and it had changed everything for them. After working together in the same college for some years, the colleagues had soon turned into lovers.
Everything was going fantastic, and while on one side, both Kumar Vishwas and Manju Sharma, were highly focused on their work front, the couple had also managed their relationship quite well in those hectic times. After dating each other for some years, Kumar Vishwas and Manju Sharma had decided to marry each other.
Kumar Vishwas and Manju Sharma weren't sure whether their respective families would accept their courtship and decision of getting married. The reason behind it was the fact that Kumar Vishwas and Manju Sharma belong to different castes, which was a major roadblock in their love story.
So, after a series of discussions, Kumar Vishwas and Manju Sharma had decided to get married without informing their respective families because they were sure that they would stop them from getting married. So, just like most of the Bollywood films, Kumar Vishwas and Manju Sharma had got married on December 24. The year of their wedding is unknown.
After tying the marital knot as per the traditional Hindu rituals, Kumar Vishwas and his wife, Manju Sharma, had gone to their respective homes to inform their families about their marriage. It had left both the families in utter shock. Kumar Vishwas' father had strictly refused to let him and his wife, Manju, enter his house. After which, the newly-married couple had lived away from their families for two years.
After two years of their marriage, Kumar Vishwas and his wife, Manju Sharma, had welcomed their first child, a baby girl, whom they have lovingly named Agrata Vishwas. The couple was on cloud nine after embracing parenthood for the first time.
The priceless moment had also melted their respective families, and everything had settled on a good note. In the following years, Kumar Vishwas and Manju Sharma had welcomed their second child, a daughter, Kuhu Vishwas, and had celebrated her birth with their families.
According to a report in Amar Ujala, Kumar Vishwas' net worth is estimated to be around Rs. 4.2 crores. From hosting shows on television to doing live-poetry shows abroad, Kumar Vishwas' massive popularity justifies his net worth.
