Hina Khan Calls Her Marriage To Rocky 'Random Decision', Reveals Tying The Knot Within 15 Minutes

In a recent conversation, Hina shared that her decision to marry Rocky was random and they were not prepared for the marriage. She also revealed that they tied the knot within 15 minutes.
Hina Khan gets candid about her marriage to Rocky Jaiswal
In a recent conversation with Sania Mirza on her podcast, Hina Khan opened up about her marriage to Rocky Jaiswal. She shared that it was during her cancer treatment that the two decided to get married. She mentioned that their decision to get married was spontaneous, and they took less than 15 minutes to tie the knot. Recalling what she said to Rocky, Hina stated:
"This was just a random decision. I told him, 'Either you move ahead… you go get married to somebody, whoever you want to, or you better get married to me because I don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow.'"
Hina’s revelation left Sania surprised, and she again questioned the actress about whether they literally got married within 15 minutes. In response, Hina said that they tied the knot in less than 15 minutes, actually. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress then confirmed that her health crisis was largely the reason behind their sudden decision. She added that when she wanted to go ahead and get married to Rocky, he had no issues and was okay with the whole thing.
In the same conversation, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame said that marriage does not define their relationship. She shared that nothing changed after marriage. She admitted that it has been more than a year and they did not remember their first wedding anniversary. Hina revealed that she and Rocky recalled their anniversary only after people started wishing them. She said:
"We are so chill and cool with each other. We are not date people."
Hina recalled how her sister-in-law reminded her and Rocky about their first wedding anniversary. On June 6, 2026, the couple celebrated their first anniversary. Sharing an adorable post, Hina admitted that she had almost forgotten their wedding anniversary.
In the note, the TV actress shared that each day is special to them. She revealed that dates do not matter to them. It is the moments that matter the most to them. Earlier, in an interview, Hina shared that during her cancer battle, she and her now-husband, Rocky Jaiswal, were going through a rough patch. She explained that their problems were not because they were incompatible. She highlighted that the issues they faced at that time were serious real-life and health-related challenges.
Hina added that at the time, she also told Rocky to marry someone else. However, Rocky chose to stay beside Hina through thick and thin. She shared that it was her husband’s support that helped her to pass the tough phase. Although the couple had to make some tough decisions, Rocky stood beside Hina and made everything around seem easier.
The couple met and fell in love on the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Hina shared that they got married under the Special Marriages Act. She also reacted to people calling their marriage a publicity stunt. She said:
"I really don’t care what people say; we know the reality. If you look at it from a publicity point of view, the actual reason disappears. We got married because we dated for the longest time, 13-14 years."
