Himanshi Khurana is one of the most famous actresses in the Punjabi film industry. Furthermore, she received unparalleled fame and popularity when she participated in the popular reality show, Bigg Boss 13 in 2019. The diva, who had entered as a wild card contestant, had garnered attention because of her alleged, pre-existing feud with co-contestant, Shehnaaz Gill. However, over a period of time, it was her apparent romantic link-up with Asim Riaz in the show that grabbed eyeballs. And now, Himanshi made some startling revelations about her stint in the show.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Himanshi Khurana opened up about her stint in the show, Bigg Boss 13 and revealed how she felt being forcefully painted in the negative limelight right from the first day of her stay in the BB House. Be it her constant fights with Shehnaaz Gill or Rashami Desai, Himanshi expressed how the show sidelined her as the mastermind of all things bitchy. Revealing how even the host, Salman Khan rebuffed her several times, whenever she wished to set her point of view, Himanshi mentioned:
“When I was talking to Salman Khan and he was confronting me about a few things. It was shown in the show that I was trying to make people fight, my conversation with Rashami was presented in a way that it looked as if I was doing chugli. The moment I was trying to talk I was shut down by the host. I stayed silent not because I was a coward but because I was respecting the senior artist.”

Himanshi then went on to recall her stance on communication during BB 13 and mentioned how out of good nature and upbringing, she used to refer to everyone with ji. However, later she was shocked to realise that this small annotation used by her was frequently mocked by the other contestants. Sharing how it made her even more proud of the values her parents instilled in her, Himanshi said:
“I was made fun of, I was mocked for my tone as I used to talk to everyone addressing them as Ji. They did not understand that I was respecting them. I should feel proud that my parents gave me such a good upbringing to address them as ji and dear.”
For the unversed, after hitting off with one another during Bigg Boss 13, Himanshi Khurana and Asim Riaz fell in love and post the end of the show, the duo are very much in a serious relationship with one another. In one of her earlier interviews with ETimes, Himanshi had spilt beans on the wedding plans with Asim Riaz and added that it was a big commitment for the duo, since Asim had just started out in his career. She further added how the two of them live in different cities and are entangled in a variety of work, and thus do not want to hurry things as important as marriage.

Back on July 24, 2023, Himanshi Khurana had taken to her IG handle and dropped stunning glimpses from the auspicious paath ceremony that she organised at her newly purchased home in Mumbai. For the special day, the diva decked up in a stunning silver-hued salwar kameez and flaunted her million-dollar smile.
