Daughter of legendary actors, Dharmendra and Hema Malini, Esha Deol has managed to make her impeccable mark in the film industry. She has created her own niche, which is different from that of her star parents. Esha is a loving daughter, who never shies away from showering love and praises on her parents. Yet again, the actress lauded her mother, Hema Malini, leaving everyone impressed.
On October 6, 2023, Esha Deol shared a beautiful picture of her mother, Hema Malini on her IG handle. In the picture, the actress looked stunning in a green-hued saree with glittery floral prints on it. Leaving her tresses open, Hema opted for subtle makeup and accessorised her look with a bindi, an emerald neckpiece and matching earrings. However, what caught our attention was that the actress styled her saree with a shopping bag as a purse.

Alongside the picture, Esha Deol penned a beautiful note, praising her mother, Hema Malini for her fashion choices. The doting daughter mentioned that while people prefer designer wear, her mother loves to flaunt a shopping bag as her purse. Revealing the interesting reason behind the same, Esha called it the simple pleasures in life and added:
"In a world filled with designer wear the dream girl seems to be happy carrying a shopping bag as her purse - reason 'it’s easy all my stuff fits in so why not'. That’s what I call the simple pleasures in life. Way to go, love you, mamma."
Hema Malini, who was last seen in the 2020 film, Shimla Mirchi, has been missing from the big screen for some time now. Earlier, in an interview with News18, Esha Deol opened up about her mother, Hema Malini making a comeback on the big screen and revealed that she has been pushing her to do so. Mentioning that Hema is looking at some good roles and scripts, the loving daughter asked people to contact her mother if they have something good for her. Esha said:
“I’ve been pushing my mother to make a comeback. I’ve been doing it forever! In fact, she too wants to do films again. She’s looking at some good roles and scripts. She’s the kind of person who says that only if something very good comes her way will she step out and go back in front of the camera. If anyone has something good for my mom, they should shoot her a call.”

On the personal front, Esha Deol tied the knot with the love of her life, Bharat Takhtani, on June 29, 2012, at Iskcon Temple. And later, in October 2017, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, Radhya Takhtani. Finally, in June 2019, Esha and Bharat again became parents with the birth of their second daughter, Miraya Takhtani. Since then, the family of four have been living their lives to the fullest and enjoying every moment together.
