Hema Malini aka Dream Girl, hosted a grand party on her 75th birthday on October 16, 2023, which was attended by the who's who of Bollywood. Many celebrities such as Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji, Jaya Bachchan, Jeetendra, Rekha, Madhuri Dixit, Shilpa Shetty, and others were part of the star-studded event. While glimpses of the bash were all over the internet, Hema Malini also dropped some inside pictures from the same.
On October 17, 2023, Hema Malini took to her X account and shared a series of photos from her birthday celebration. The glimpses showed the birthday girl posing for some stunning clicks with the guests at the celebration. From sharing a laugh with Salman Khan to having a gala time with her co-stars, Jeetendra, Shatrughan Sinha and others, Hema Malini indeed had a celebration of a lifetime.

Hema Malini had an unconventional marriage with Dharmendra, who was already married to Prakash Kaur, and they are growing stronger every day. In one of the photos, shared by Hema, the much-in-love couple was seen having a candid moment together at the bash. In the next picture, Dharmendra and Hema cannot take their eyes off each other as the camera clicked them. Sharing the pictures with Dharmendra, Hema penned:
"16/10/23 was indeed a platinum day in my life and the birthday party at the Aurika Hotel in the evening was a big success. Dharamji’s presence throughout was my blessing."
As glimpses of the fun-filled celebration of Hema Malini's 75th birthday bash surfaced on the internet, the absence of Dharmendra's first family from the party grabbed everyone's eyeballs. Soon, netizens started claiming that all was not well between Hema and Dharmendra's first family and she was upset with Sunny Deol for ignoring her and her daughters, Esha and Ahana at his son, Karan Deol's wedding. However, as per a report in BollywoodLife, an insider revealed that Sunny Deol was given an invitation to the party, but he couldn't make it due to work commitments. Sunny even sent a flower bouquet to Hema Malini on her birthday and acknowledged her invitation.

Hema Malini continued to pursue her acting career even after her marriage to Dharmendra. The duo delivered several hit films together, including Sholay, Raja Jani, Baghavat, and more. Earlier, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Hema was asked about the special gift that she got from her husband on her 75th birthday. To this, she revealed that Dharmendra, who was vacationing in the US, returned to Mumbai to be with her and celebrate her birthday. Calling it the biggest gift, Hema said:
“He is here for my birthday, and the biggest gift he gives me is spending time with us.”
