Hayden Panettiere had her plans set to celebrate her birthday with her daughter, Kaya, in Germany. She had plans to meet her, and a source close to Page Six stated that Hayden was planning to spend the week of her birthday visiting her daughter in Germany. The source further noted:
"She was so excited to see her and was telling everyone how much she was looking forward to spending time with her.”
Hayden Panettiere's planned reunion with her daughter was extremely meaningful for the actress. This is because she spent most of her life away from her daughter Kaya. For the unversed, Hayden was earlier engaged to Wladimir Klitschko. He is a retired Ukrainian heavyweight boxing champ. Kaya's custody was given to Wladimir, and the actress continued to maintain a close bond with her daughter.

Hayden Panettiere's life has come into full focus, with Kaya remaining a central part of it, despite the physical distance between them and circumstances related to their family history. Hayden and her ex-fiancee, Wladimir had started dating back in 2009 and it was in 2013 that they became engaged.
It was in 2018 that Wladimir and Hayden ended their relationship, after they had been dating since 2009. It was in 2014 that they were blessed with a daughter whom they named Kaya. She started living with her father in Europe. Hayden Panettiere had earlier spoken about the emotional pain she had faced related to Kaya's custody.
It was in the year of 2022 that she stated she was giving Wladimir full custody while she was also working on her health, which was one of the toughest phases of her life. Hayden had always stated what Kaya meant to her and how the painful perception related to her equation.
Hayden Panettiere's daughter has always been central to her life. According to Hayden Panettiere's hairstylist and close friend, Erick Orellana always remembered how she spoke about Kaya. Erick stated that pictures and stories related to Kaya were a regular part of her conversations. Orellana had last seen Hayden a few months later and revealed:
"She was talking about how she wanted to take a vacation, and that she wanted to go and see her daughter. Her daughter was always her absolute priority. She loved her so much.”
Erick Orellana further revealed that for Hayden, her daughter was the absolute light of her life. The actress used to light up when she spoke about her daughter. Everything she did revolved around her.
Hayden Panettiere had earlier shared in an interview with TMZ about facing postpartum depression after giving birth to Kaya. She needed several blood transfusions amid three hours of surgery. Hayden had felt ashamed when she did not experience instant love, which she wanted to feel as a mom. In her words:
"I didn't have any negative feelings towards my child, just knew I was deeply depressed."
