Hayden Panettiere had a bag full of medication at the time of her death
Hayden died on August 16, 2026, at her home. The 911 call revealed that a woman was discovered having a cardiac arrest, and she died after measures were taken to revive her. Now, a new report by TMZ claimed that Hayden Panettiere was on a lot of medication. She had a bag full of medication, and her boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, showed the police all of it.
As per the police report, Hayden's boyfriend, Brian Hickerson and his brother, Zach, were present in the Greenville, SC, apartment when the 36-year-old actress died. Brian revealed to the police the medication his girlfriend was taking at the time of her death. As per reports, there were nine different drugs that were found with her.
It is worth adding that Narcan was also found in the apartment where Hayden passed away. It is administered nasally to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, and a device used to dispense it was also found on a mattress. Her boyfriend's brother, Zach was extremely emotional as emergency medical services professionals were busy saving Hayden. On the other hand, Brian broke down after Hayden was declared dead at the scene.
It is worth mentioning that three years later, Hayden's brother passed away, and it left a big void in her heart. As per the family, he died from an enlarged heart with aortic valve complications. The condition caused the muscular walls of the heart to become too thick while trying to push the blood. However, Hayden was deeply sorry. She gained about 40 pounds due to the pain. She just ballooned out. She shared:
“I just ballooned out. It didn’t matter what I did, what I ate. I know stress and cortisol running through your body can do that. Now I think my body was protecting itself, shielding itself from the world."
Hayden stated that he was her only sibling and it was her job to protect him, and when she lost him it felt like she lost her life. She stated that she could never get over it, no matter how many years passed after losing her only brother. She said:
"He was my only sibling, and it was my job to protect him. When I lost him, I felt like I lost half of my soul … I will always be heartbroken about (him), I will never be able to get over it. No matter how many years go by, I will never get over his loss."
Hayden Panettiere's death
For those who don't know, Hayden was born and raised in Palisades, New York. She entered acting as a baby model, then she landed a role as a child artist. Her mother, who was a former actor, wanted to see her succeed in the glamour world, but it ruined her chance to have a normal childhood.
Hayden died on August 16, 2026, in Greenville, South Carolina. An officer revealed that they received a call at around 1:50 pm stating that there was an unresponsive female. The report can be read as "It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her -- and to the millions who watched her onscreen."
