Now, according to recent inside news, popular actors, Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod are the new lovebirds in town.
For the unversed, the rumoured couple are everyone’s favourite on-screen jodi for playing ‘Akshara’ and ‘Dr Abhimanyu’ in the popular daily soap, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. And this fictional Hindi serial has made it to the hearts of millions. Though Harshad and Pranali share a 16 years age gap, their on-screen bond has set unrealistic expectations about leading a perfect love life in off-screen. Now, fans are eagerly waiting to know if the duo is dating in real life.

Harshad Chopra is often hailed as the Shah Rukh Khan of the small screen as his romantic scenes could make any girl go weak in their knees. With the year-long shooting of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, many anticipated that Harshad and his female co-star, Pranli Rathod would end up together. Now, a recent scoop from the set has something similar to tell. According to a recent report in Hindustan Times, a source from the sets of YRKKH confirmed that the alleged couple spends a considerate amount of time together and goes on several dates. The source can be quoted as saying:
“They spend the maximum time with each other on the set. Their lunch is together, they arrive together and even pack up and leave together. From what we know, they have also gone on several dates.”
Further, the report quoted one more source close to the actors, who shared that the Pranali is head over heels in love with Harshad. The source also said that the two might not officially announce their relationship anytime soon as the actor likes to keep his personal life under the wraps. The source shared:
“Pranali was smitten by Harshad and it was obvious. Today just like him, she has become reclusive too. He acts as her mentor but clearly, there’s something brewing. I don’t think they will come out in the open and address it, given Harshad is very private about his personal life.”

Earlier in an interview with the Tellychakkar, Harshad Chopda had opened up about performing romantic scenes in television shows. Talking about his family’s reactions to his intimate scene, Harshad had given a witty reply and had said that he had trained his mind not to think about his parents while performing. His clever response had spoken volumes about his professionalism and had proved that he is true to his profession. In his words:
"It's funny actually! When I am doing the scene, there is nothing on my mind, I am completely into the scene, I don't even think ki mummy jee, papa jee kya bolenge or how I will face my sister."
