Taking to his IG handle on July 21, 2023, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor dropped a video wherein he can be seen unboxing an expensive pair of shoes. The actor also can be heard saying that he is really excited to unbox it as he always wanted this expensive pair to add to his collection. Further, in the video, the actor kept providing his fans with the details about his new addition. Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor's new addition is Air Jordan 1 in neutral grey colour from the 1985 vintage collection. There's no denying the fact that the actor's expensive pair of Jordan can blow one's mind in seconds with its super classy look.

As soon as Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor dropped the video, the comment section got flooded with comments. Fans started going gaga over Harsh's latest Air Jordan 1 and called it wardrobe worthy. Anil Kapoor also took to the comment section and dropped two red heart emoticons. However, a certain section of netizens remained confused and asked the actor if he paid for this all by himself or if Anil Kapoor and Anand Ahuja had bought him the expensive sneakers. A comment about the same can be read as, "Who pays for this?? Anil or Anand." However, Harsh Varrdhan's befitting yet humorous reply caught our attention. Reacting to the nasty comment, Harsh replied:
"Neither .. I’m in a secret relationship with a very rich woman from Dubai she’s married and stuff but madly in love with me .. she pays for all this.. the secret has now been revealed exclusively to you since you’re so important to me.. hope you sleep better tonight now that you have this life changing bit of information my brother..lots of love."

This is not the first time that Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor has been questioned about his expensive purchases. It often happens that the actor faces trolling for the same reason. However, earlier in an interview with Mashable India, he shared how his parents are not at all interested in buying him expensive things. The Thar actor also revealed that he buys all the expensive things independently, without getting help from his parents. Harsh Varrdhan also took a dig at the trolls and stated that he wished all the assumptions were right about his father helping him financially. Harsh Varrdhan mentioned:
"I hate to break it to the audience, but the reality is that my parents have no interest in paying for my sh*t. So, I wish you all were right and I was wrong. I would have had ten times more than what I have but I buy my own stuff. It's the sad reality of my life. Otherwise, you don't think I would have had five cars as opposed to just one. You don't think I would have had 30 watches. It doesn't work like that."
