One of the promising actors in the Indian television industry, Harsh Rajput, is making his own mark in the acting sphere. Right from his stint as Pundir in his debut serial, Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan, as Agni in the show, Dharam Veer, projection of the role Ishaan in Channel V's, Crazy Stupid Ishq to playing a complex character as that of Bittu in Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Harsh Rajput is slowly and steadily making a strong foothold in television.
For the uninitiated ones, rumours have been rife that Harsh was dating his co-star, Aneri Vajani from Crazy Stupid Ishq. If the reports were to be believed, Harsh and Aneri met on the sets and soon fell for each other. According to the sources, they dated each other in the year 2014. Though when Aneri was asked about the same at that time, she hd rubbished the rumours and stated, “Not at all. We are just very good friends. In an interaction with The Times of India, Harsh Rajput has talked about playing a double role on the show, Nazar and his personal life as well. When asked if he was rumoured to be dating Beyhadh actress and his co-star from the show, Crazy Stupid Ishq, Aneri Vajani, he cleared the status. Harsh was quoted as saying, “Aneri and I are good friends and share a great bond. There’s nothing more than that.”
Though the track in Nazar has changed recently, he admitted that it was tough to play the double role. He was quoted as saying, “Daily soap actors get less time to prepare, as tracks are decided overnight. I have been playing Ansh for a year and was completely into it. So, to play his twin, Karan, and that too, with a negative shade, was challenging and interesting at the same time.” (Checkout: Shikhar Dhawan And Rohit Sharma Enjoy Local Train Ride Together With Their Wives And Kids)
He had further added, “It was physically and mentally demanding, but I am not complaining, as it gives me the scope to explore. I have gained a lot from the show, and I am reaping the fruits of my hard work of around 13 years in the industry. The attention is keeping me grounded. If I had got this attention in the beginning, it would have gone to my head, and I wouldn’t have been able to handle it. Now, the fear is that I would be bored if I have to do a daily soap after this show.”
In an interview with The Times of India, Harsh was asked if he lacked good content-based shows that he opted for a supernatural one. To which he had replied, “I have always believed in doing something different. So, when a devil’s role was offered, I saw it as an opportunity to do many action sequences. The audience decide what they want to watch. If supernatural shows excite them, how can actors have a say on whether the genre is good or bad?” Talking about Nazar, he further added, "I feel Nazar is all about the character since everyone is as important as the dayaan. I am getting an opportunity to play different characters at the same time."
Talking candidly about his journey in the industry with TellyChakkar, Harsh had once shared, “I come from a small town called Navsari. I have always wished to become an actor and tried my luck at it when I was 17. I have had my share of struggle and pain. In fact, there was a time when I was thrown out of audition. Those incidents have made me stronger.” (Do Read: Angad Bedi Tying His Baby Girl, Mehr Dhupia Bedi's Shoelaces Reflects Of A Pure Father-Daughter Love)
For the ones who don’t know, Aneri Vajani is also rumoured to be dating her Nisha Aur Uske Cousins co-star, Mishkat Varma. Ever since they appeared on the show together, they have been giving goals and post this serial, they reunited on Yeh Hai Aashiqui. Speaking about the same in a BollywoodLife interview, Aneri had stated, “We had great chemistry in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, but you’ll see a more intimate bonding on this show. Our scenes are very different and well-written. The story will appeal to youngsters. Working with Mishkat is always fun. We have a love-hate relationship. He is sweet, annoyingly sweet.”
Here's wishing all the luck to you, Harsh!
