Shobinaw Satyaa's journey in Hanuman Ansh itself is no less than a film script. According to reports, he had joined the project as an assistant director and was working behind the camera when things took an unexpected turn. Apparently, the actor who was originally cast to play the revered saint fell ill, leaving Vishal Chaturvedi in a difficult situation, looking for someone who could do justice to the role.
That is when Vishal Chaturvedi asked Shobinaw Satyaa to audition for the role of Neem Karoli Baba. Reportedly, the audition lasted nearly five hours, after which he decided to cast him in the lead role, bringing him from behind the scenes to the forefront of Hanuman Ansh. However, fans have now become interested in learning who Shobinaw is. According to reports, Shobinaw Satyaa hails from Lucknow and is an alumnus of FTII, Pune.
He spent years working in the entertainment industry before Hanuman Ansh brought him into the spotlight as an actor. Shobinaw had worked on several projects behind the scenes. His credits include the popular television show CID, as well as projects such as Ragini MMS Returns, Happily Ever After, and Mahapaur. While he had been part of the industry for some time, his roles had mostly been behind the camera, making Hanuman Ansh a special milestone for him.

For those who are not aware, Purnima Tiwari plays 'Rambeti Sharma', Neem Karoli Baba's wife, in Hanuman Ansh. Her character appears in the chapter that explores Maharaj Ji's personal and family life before the narrative moves towards his spiritual journey.
While she has won over the fans with her performance in the film, Purnima Tiwari also has immense experience in the industry. She has worked in television, films and streaming projects before Hanuman Ansh. Her previous work includes appearances in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Choona, Raat Akeli Hai, Hurdang and Lakeerein.

Born Lakshman Narayan Sharma, he later came to be known as Neem Karoli Baba and, affectionately, Maharaj Ji among his followers. His teachings centre around devotion, love and service.
