Shaka Laka Boom Boom fame, Hansika Motwani is now a beautiful grown-up girl who would leave your jaws dropped with a glimpse of her pretty face and alluring personality. Since the age of 15, she stepped into the glam world and worked in the films like Koi Mil Gaya, Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, Desamuduru, Aap Kaa Surroor and many more. However, it’s her flawless skin which often fascinates us to know more about her diet, workout secrets and her weight loss journey.
Since maintaining a glass skin is practically in her job description, she has world-class dermatologists and dedicated facialists at the ready. Since she is surrounded by so many experts, Hansika has developed her own expert knowledge when it comes to keeping skin red-carpet-ready. Keeping that in mind, let’s dig into the actress’ brilliant skincare routine to achieve glass skin.
If you have ever groaned at your reflection in the mirror because of dull and acne-prone skin, then you are not alone. Take out your yoga mat or hit the gym just like Hansika Motwani does to maintain a healthy body. In an interview with the ETimes, she revealed her workout routine and said she jogs her way to the gym. Reflecting more on how she includes swimming and yoga to make the workout a bit more interesting, she had said:
“I love waking up early and most days when I do, I jog my way to the gym. I find working with weights extremely boring, so I do most of my workouts where I can use my own body as resistance. I try to make workouts interesting so there is no fixed regime as such. Spinning and swimming every alternate day is a must. I do yoga regularly since I find it very relaxing and it also helps me stretch.”
It is now scientifically proven that the diet you follow can affect your skin's health and aging. In the same conversation, Hansika talked about her daily food intake. She starts her day with two glasses of water, followed by a cup of green tea without sugar. She had said:
“As soon as I wake up, I have two glasses of water and follow that with a cup of green tea without sugar. Breakfast is a bowl of papaya, after which I head to the gym. Mid-morning I have an omelette of three white eggs with a multigrain toast. Lunch usually comprises boiled vegetables.”
Stress can lead your skin to break out. Hence, taking time out to relax is essential. Talking about the same, Hansika revealed that she opts for movies, long drives and quality time with family to relax. In her words:
“I travel a lot and seeing new places is the best way to unwind. There is nothing like going to a spa every once a while to re-energise and relax at the same time. Whenever I am free I try to spend time with my family and friends to go for dinners, movies and long drives."
Over the years, Hansika has lost a noticeable amount of weight. Hansika’s transformation from chubby to toned body fascinates many of her admirers. Further, in the conversation, she revealed travelling to new places and occasionally taking time out for spa also helped her to stay happy. When not acting, you will find Hansika following her passion for photography and football. She had stated:
"Football, music and photography are other passions that help me unwind. I keep sipping on a lot of water throughout the day. Early evening I have a light snack, which is a couple of biscuits and green tea. I eat my dinner by six in the evening, which comprises boiled vegetables or a salad. I don’t eat after that. Sundays is the only day when I’m allowed to cheat.”
After a long wait, Hansika tied the knot with her boyfriend, Sohael Khaturiya on December 4, 2022. It was a royal wedding ceremony at Mundota Palace in Jaipur, Rajasthan. And trust us, she was looking like a dream in all of her wedding festivities. From mata ki chowki, haldi, and mehendi to the big day, the gorgeousness served us with unique bridal looks.
However, the highlight of her looks was her bridal glow. She made sure to hydrate her skin months in advance so that the makeup sits better. In an interview with Vogue, Dermatologist, Dr Rashmi Shetty suggested that a laser and several facials can help you achieve that bridal glow. In her words:
