Hansika Motwani tied the knot with her businessman-boyfriend, Sohael Khaturiya, in a royal wedding on December 4, 2022. Held at the 150-year-old palace, Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur, their wedding became the talk of the town. Since then, Hansika has been delighting us with some unseen glimpses of her wedding festivities, and we still can't get enough of them. However, to our delight, Hansika Motwani announced her next show, Love Shaadi Drama, which will be based on her real-life wedding and feature many unseen glimpses of the same.
On January 18, 2023, newly-wedded actress, Hansika Motwani took to her IG handle and announced that her wedding will be aired as a reality show titled, Love Shaadi Drama, which will stream on Disney+ Hotstar. The web series will offer a close look into what went behind making the much-talked-about wedding a reality. In the video, Hansika said, “Hi, this is Hansika Motwani, and something very special happened in my life, I got married. Guess you can see the wedding glow and you can watch the entire wedding only on Disney+ Hotstar.” Sharing the video, Hansika penned a note, which can be read as:
“What is a shaadi without a little drama? #HotstarSpecials #HansikasLoveShaadiDrama coming soon!”

As per multiple media reports, the web series will showcase the celebrations, drama, and excitement that happened during Hansika Motwani and Sohael Kathuriya's wedding festivities. The show, Hansika's Love Shaadi Drama, will reveal everything that occurred from the moment Hansika announced her wedding to Sohael, including how the wedding planning took place to turn the special day into a fairy tale wedding in just six weeks. Moreover, Hansika and her family will also talk about a scandal that broke out before her wedding.
For the unversed, it was on December 6, 2022, when Hansika Motwani shared some first-ever pictures from her royal wedding with her longtime boyfriend, Sohael Khaturiya on her IG handle. In the pictures, the then-bride and groom were beaming with joy as they performed their wedding rituals. In one of the pictures, Sohael could be seen applying sindoor on his bride, Hansika's forehead, while the second picture showed the couple taking the pheras at their wedding mandap. Both Sohael and Hansika looked stunning in their respective wedding ensembles, and their love for each other was clearly visible in the pictures.

Two days ahead of their royal wedding, the couple hosted a Derby celebration for their loved ones, and it was a magical affair. Hansika and Sohael looked like a match made in heaven in the dreamy pictures amidst the vintage setup. For the ceremony, Hansika looked gorgeous in a dreamy white gown, which featured a body-hugging bodice, adorned with white pearls and stones along with a feather-adorned attached skirt silhouette. On the other hand, her beau, Sohael complemented her in a white tuxedo paired with a black bowtie. Hansika opted for a unique diamond choker neckpiece and a pair of dainty drop earrings to complete her look.

Hansika Motwani and Sohael Khaturiya had a picturesque haldi ceremony at the wedding venue on December 3, 2022. For the ceremony, Hansika and her then-groom-to-be, Sohael opted for matching ensembles which perfectly complemented the overall decor for the event. Hansika looked gorgeous in an elegant white kurta featuring beautiful yellow-hued floral motifs all over it and paired it with a matching sharara and an organza dupatta. To accentuate her look, she opted for a set of dainty yet statement jewellery, which perfectly complemented her minimal outfit. On the other hand, her then-groom-to-be, Sohael Khaturiya complemented her in a white kurta-pyjama with floral prints all over it. He accessorised his look with a pair of cool sunglasses and looked dapper.

On December 24, 2022, Hansika Motwani took to her IG handle and shared a sneak peek into her honeymoon with her hubby, Sohael Khaturiya, wherein the couple was dressed up in warm woollen clothes. Hansika donned a pink-hued sweatshirt styled with a checkered shrug and paired it with a pair of black pants. On the other hand, Sohael wore a matching sweatshirt which he layered with an olive-green jacket. In one of the videos, Hansika can be seen roaming the streets of Vienna, admiring the beauty around her. The streets were fully decked up with fairy lights and other decor items, and the actress was mesmerised by them as she walked through the beautifully decorated lane.
