Talking to the media outlet, Captain Brennan Matherne of the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office said that as of right now, detectives have not found any evidence of foul play. However, they are still investigating and have not ruled out anything yet.
As the media outlet previously reported, the Lafourche Sheriff's Office responded to a home in Raceland, LA, after getting an emergency call Thursday night, October 1, 2026. However, upon their arrival, officers found Ken Urker was dead and then launched a death investigation. The incident has made headlines, creating questions about what happened to Ken.

According to initial reports, Gypsy Rose Blanchard grew concerned about her partner after she sent Ken Urker a "happy birthday" text but didn't recieve any response from his end. Her brother, Dylan Blanchard, and his wife later went to Ken's home after making plans to have dinner with him and discovered him unresponsive.
Ken Urker's sister, Autumn, later confirmed his death during a TikTok livestream. She reportedly shared that his final words to her were, "I love you." The circumstances surrounding Ken's death have not been publicly disclosed. However, during the livestream, statements were reportedly made, that his death was "not of natural causes." Autumn also indicated that they don't believe foul play was involved.
No authorized source has confirmed these claims. The timing of Ken's death has been particularly devastating for his family and close ones. According to PEOPLE, Urker was found inside a Louisiana home by a family member after he failed to respond to Blanchard's birthday message.
Talking about his relationship with Gypsy, according to reports, Ken Urker and Gypsy Rose Blanchard got engaged while the latter was serving her prison sentence for her role in conspiring to kill her mom, Dee Dee. However, shortly after, they broke up, and Gypsy went on to marry Ryan Anderson. While things seemed to have ended between them, Gypsy later split from Ryan after she was released from prison.
After her separation from Ryan Anderson, Gypsy Rose Blanchard found her way back to Ken Urker, and they rekindled their romance. Ken and Gypsy had a daughter named Aurora Raina Urker, who was born in December 2024.
