Rapper, Pooh Shiesty's Dad Reportedly Was Involved With Son In Gucci Mane's Alleged Kidnapping Case

Atlanta rapper, Gucci Mane, was reportedly kidnapped from his studio located in Dallas, Texas. He was also allegedly robbed and targeted by Memphis rappers- Pooh Shiesty and Big30. Well, now, the Department of Justice has announced the arrests even of Pooh Shiesty's father, Lontrell Williams Sr who reportedly was involved in the kidnapping of Gucci Mane. He had helped his son, Pooh Shiesty, by organising the crime as per reports.

The Department of Justice has revealed that Lontrell Williams Sr who is the dad of Pooh Shiesty, reportedly organised Gucci Mane's kidnapping. According to a report by Chron, Pooh Shiesty's father, Lontrell Williams Sr rented the vehicle which was used by the kidnapping group. He reportedly was arrested after the FBI raided Pooh Shiesty's family home back in Cordova, Tennessee, on April 1, 2026. Well, another report by The Times of India revealed that the full list of individuals who were reportedly involved in Gucci Mane's kidnapping has been released. The list includes- Lontrell Williams Jr. (Pooh Shiesty), Lontrell Williams Sr., Rodney Wright Jr. (Big30), Kadarius Waters, Demarion Gibson, DeMarcus Glover, Corday Johnson, Darian McDaniel, and Terrence Rodgers.

Well, the exact names of the victims have not been out, but one name that has come out is of Gucci Mane. The complaint, filed by the Department of Justice, alleged that on January 10, 2026, Gucci and two other music professionals went to Dallas to attend a meeting arranged by Pooh. The rapper and his dad's arrest have been linked to Gucci Mane's record label, 1017 Records, to which Pooh Shiesty is signed.

The DOJ complaint revealed that Pooh wanted to discuss the terms of his recording contract with the rapper and others. In the studio, Pooh, reportedly, with the eight others, had executed an armed takeover. Pooh reportedly used an AK-style pistol and forced Gucci to sign a release from the recording contract at gunpoint. Well, the other alleged criminals removed the guns and robbed the rapper, Gucci and others of Rolex watches, jewellery, cash and also other high-value items. Reports also claim that one person was reportedly choked and had become unconscious.

Pooh Shiesty's dad, Lontrell Williams, is also called 'Mob Boss' in Memphis. His name carries a lot of weight in South Memphis. Long before, Pooh became famous globally in the rap world, Lontrell had already created a name for himself in the business and also on the streets of Memphis. On the other side, Pooh was earlier on home detention due to the alleged violence and was released in October 2025. Well, back in the 1990s and early 2000s, Pooh's dad, Lontrell, had expanded his influence beyond the streets of Memphis. He had opened Club Martini, which, back at that time, became one of the most famous nightclubs. From drug dealers, athletes, and street figures, everyone was attracted to Club Martini.

A report by Kriticiz.com revealed that Pooh Shiesty's father, Lontrell Williams, was once caught in a trap house during a search warrant execution. Officers had found drugs, guns and more than USD 10,000 cash. Well, now a report from TMZ revealed that Pooh and his father have been detained in Memphis after a search was conducted at his home in Cordova, Tennessee. Well, it is interesting to note that neither Pooh, nor his dad, nor rapper, Gucci has yet commented on the alleged incident.
