Groom Stole The Show As He Matches Every Step During A Face -Off With Shahid Kapoor At His Sangeet

Celebrities turning a wedding into one of the most priceless moments is not new. But what happens when the groom himself becomes the showstopper despite the star’s presence? Something similar happened at a recent wedding, where the groom not only danced but also matched every step with the star performer, Shahid Kapoor.

Groom stole the show as he danced equally well as Shahid Kapoor

During the sangeet ceremony of Rishabh Jidani, Shahid Kapoor graced the ceremony and stunned the audience with his killer moves. But to everyone’s surprise, the groom, Rishabh, stole the show. When Rishabh started dancing with Shahid, guests thought he was just giving Shahid company, but the focus soon shifted from Shahid to Rishabh.

The duo danced to Shahid Kapoor’s iconic song, Uppar paan ki dukaan from his recent release, O’Romeo. During the faceoff, Rishabh matched every step of Shahid and danced his heart out with the actor. In one of the glimpses, even Shahid looked surprised by Rishabh’s moves. As soon as the video went viral, people heaped praises on Rishabh for owning the stage.

Groom awestruck the guests with his killer moves

Another video of the groom, Rishabh Jidani, surfaced on social media, in which he was seen swaying effortlessly as he danced to a Punjabi track. Dressed in a black kurta pyjama, Rishabh awestruck the guests with his dancing and expressions. Instead of shying away, Rishabh owned the stage, and his moves soon paved the way on social media. For the unversed, Rishabh Jidani is a Delhi-based entrepreneur and director of Rivanshi Real Estate and Entertainment Private Limited. He is also involved in luxury events and weddings. Rishabh recently got married to Radhika Kochhar, and their wedding was a star-studded affair.

Shahid Kapoor recalls his love for dance

Shahid Kapoor is one of the most popular actors in Bollywood, who never fails to mesmerise his fans with his amazing acting skills. Apart from acting, Shahid is widely loved by his fans for his power-packed dance performances. But few people know that Shahid was a background dancer early in his career. Yes! You read it right. The handsome actor first made his silver screen debut as a background dancer with the song, Le Gayi, from the movie Dil To Pagal Hai.

In an interaction with India Today to promote his film, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Shahid Kapoor looked back on when his passion for dancing developed. The actor revealed that he began to realise his love for dance at 15 and remarked that he was an ordinary, shy teenager who used to dance in the corner of a room. Emphasising how it was his mother, Neeliima Azeem, who motivated him to follow his passion, Shahid said:

“I was like a regular 15-year-old. I was very shy. Didn't have guts. I always used to dance in one corner at every party. It was my mom who noticed my love for dance. She was a classical dancer. She put me in Shiamak Davar class. She told me to be confident in whatever I love to do.''
