Govinda is one of the most talented actors in the Hindi film industry. The 90s heartthrob has etched his name in the hearts of millions by working in popular films like Naseeb, Coolie No. 1, Akhiyon Se Goli Maare, Raja Babu, Hero No. 1, Partner, Swarg, Saajan Chale Sasural and many more. Currently, the actor has been hitting all the headlines after he was dragged into the Ponzi scam. Many reports suggested that Govinda will be questioned over his involvement in Rs. 1000 crore scam. And now, his manager cleared the air around the reports.

In a conversation with ETimes, Govinda's manager, Shashi Sinha opened up about Rs. 1000 crore Ponzi scam and the actor's alleged involvement in the case. Talking about the same, Shashi mentioned that it is half-baked news that has been spreading like a fire in the media. Clarifying that Govinda has no relation with the case, his manager said:

"Govinda has not nothing to do with the case. Govinda had gone through an agency for an event and returned we have nothing to do with the business or branding of it. All half baked news has been published in the media."

When reports about Govinda being questioned in the Ponzi scam case circulated

Earlier, in a conversation with the Times of India, EOW inspector general, J.N. Pankaj had stated that Bollywood actor, Govinda will be questioned in the Rs. 1000 crore pan India online ponzi scam case. For the unversed, a company called Sola Techno Alliance (STA-Token) had allegedly conducted an online scam by posing as a crypto investment venture. J.N. Pankaj further stated that Govinda is neither a suspect nor an accused and said:

"We will soon send a team to Mumbai to question filmstar Govinda, who had attended STA’s grand function in Goa in July and promoted the company in some videos. His exact role in the case can be ascertained only after investigation."

When Govinda revealed how his mother warned him never to ditch Sunita

Talking about Govinda's personal life, the actor is happily married to his wife, Sunita. And the duo is blessed with two beautiful kids, Yashvardhan Ahuja and Tina Ahuja. Earlier, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Govinda and Sunita opened up about their love story and shared some lesser-known anecdotes about the same. During the conversation, Govinda revealed that his mother once warned him never to ditch Sunita. In his words:

"Arey she told me if you ditch her, unhone bahut ganda lafz istemaal kara. Unhone kaha tu beekh maangegag agar tu ise dokha dega. I said, 'Aap itna pyaar karti hai.' Toh vo kehti sach vo laxmi hai."

In the same conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Govinda's wife, Sunita revealed the reason behind keeping their wedding a secret. Talking about the same, she stated that they got married in 1987 when Govinda was at the peak of his career. Mentioning how it was quite common for actors to lose their fan following if they got married, Sunita said that she gave him a year to sign as many films as he wanted to.
