Govinda Calls Sunita Ahuja 'Lucky' For Him Amid Affair Rumours With Komal Rani Swarnkar, 'My Wife..'

Earlier, in September 2026, when Govinda made an appearance with his rumoured girlfriend, Komal Rani Swarnkar, at Lalbaugcha Raja, Sunita said to the media that her marriage was breaking.
Reacting to her statement, Komal mentioned in her IG Stories, 'nobody can be a homebreaker when the home is already broken'. Now, in an interview, Govinda shared that Sunita has been lucky for him.
Govinda shares Sunita Ahuja is being manipulated by someone
In a recent interview with ABP Live, Govinda shared that he is not focusing on what people are talking about, as, according to the actor, it is just a phase. He explained that especially ladies are reacting to the ongoing buzz surrounding his personal life, and he never objects to their reaction. Sharing the reason behind keeping quiet, Govinda said:
"I keep quiet and respectful because I know that if I do, once this phase is over, the wounds will remain. I don’t want to cast any doubt on my behaviour, unless someone forces me to."
Govinda mentioned that it is not his nature to expose someone so that they start feeling embarrassed. The actor shared that he knew seven to eight years ago that this phase would come in his life. He said that a bad reputation has always been synonymous with his name. Govinda added that someone is trying to manipulate the situation between him and his wife, Sunita. He said:
"There comes a time in every household that your close ones can’t see beyond you. They get manipulated and influenced."
In the same interview, Govinda shared that he is willing to let Sunita enjoy the attention and spotlight for now because she has played a significant role in his life and career. The actor went on to say that his success and reputation are largely because of his mother's blessings and his wife, Sunita's good luck and support. He said:
"I have eaten so much into her luck that whatever name and respect I’ve earned is because of my mother’s blessings, and my wife, because of whom I’ve never looked back. So, she’s been lucky for me."
Inside Govinda and Komal Rani Swarnkar's affair buzz
The affair buzz surrounding Komal Rani Swarnkar and Govinda intensified in August 2026, when the duo was spotted at the Mumbai airport. The actor was seen wearing a mauve tuxedo with a matching shirt underneath and black-hued trousers. On the other hand, the newcomer actress was seen wearing a yellow-hued maxi dress. However, when Komal sported sindoor and appeared alongside Govinda to visit the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal, many people, including Kashmera Shah and Divya Khosla, slammed Govinda and supported Sunita.
At the time, Sunita addressed the media and confessed that her marriage was breaking up. Soon after that, Komal took to her Instagram Stories and lashed out at Sunita. Taking a dig at Sunita, Komal mentioned that a woman has been trying to kill her husband for years, and thus, curse words from her won't be effective on anybody. She went on to accuse Sunita of mentally harassing and cornering Govinda, and using public attention to gain sympathy.
Earlier, Sunita criticised Govinda and his alleged affair with Komal. She pointed out that the duo was promoting the film, Roopa, even before it was complete. She also slammed Komal’s way of dressing and called Govinda her 'sugar daddy.' Sunita shared that Govinda should be ashamed, as he was roaming with a woman who is the same age as his daughter. She added that it was very bad and that her husband had lost his mind.
