It was in September 2022 when Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid sparked their dating buzz. During that time, DiCaprio had broken up with Camila Morrone and was spotted in NYC, where Hadid resides with her daughter, Khai. Following this, the couple was seen together, and sources revealed during that time that they were getting to know each other, while the actor was pursuing the model.
Gigi and DiCaprio made some public appearances, and sources revealed that the actor found her mature and was in awe that she had her life together and had a kid. On the other hand, DiCaprio appeared to be charming and mature to Gigi. By June 2023, even though the couple sparked brief split buzz, they were seen having dinner with the actor's parents.
Why did Leonardo DiCaprio part ways from Gigi Hadid?
As it seemed, eventually, the couple's relationship ran its course. While Gigi and DiCaprio never made anything about their relationship public, the breakup reason was also never officially confirmed. However, sources had several pieces of information to share. Us Weekly reported that while DiCaprio was dating her, Hadid was not sure about the future of their relationship.
The reason was partially that they had a huge lifestyle difference. According to the sources, Hadid never wanted a boyfriend who would be in and out, partying, and busy with work. Hadid didn't want to date someone seriously unless she could introduce them to her child.
The alleged couple shared several similarities, like their love for travel and the kind of work that they do; however, while Gigi could spend more time with her daughter, it was not possible for Leo due to his demanding career, and it turned out to be a matter of concern for the model. This was why the duo allegedly parted ways; however, they didn't have any bad blood between them and remained friends. Speaking of the main alleged issue between them, the source revealed:
"They both travel a lot by nature of their jobs. But Gigi is taking more work that allows her to spend more time with her child. And Leo still travels a lot and likes to go out a lot. And there’s temptation and all those factors had been concerns of hers.”
