The couple exchanged vows at their home in Cascais, Portugal, surrounded by their children. Rodriguez later explained that privacy was more valuable to them than staging a huge celebrity wedding. Yet her bridal jewellery told a very different story.
Georgina's wedding-day glamour apparently started before she even walked down the aisle. In photographs shared by Vogue and captured by photographer Juergen Teller, the model was seen exercising alongside Ronaldo before their ceremony. While most people might have reached for a fitness tracker or simple jewellery, Rodriguez appeared to have a much more extravagant accessory in mind.
Georgina wore a Chopard Garden of Kalahari bracelet featuring a 21-carat emerald-cut diamond and a 14.7-carat emerald-cut diamond, surrounded by another 13.1 carats of diamonds. The spectacular bracelet was part of the same high-jewellery collection that later supplied the centrepiece of her bridal look. The bride-to-be paired the extraordinary wristwear with a workout outfit. While that studded moment definitely became one of the day's highlights, it was just a sneak peek into what was to come next.
Georgina's wedding look featured a 50-carat diamond
For the wedding ceremony, Rodriguez traded the workout gear for a custom white Gucci skirt suit and matching satin shoes featuring the brand's signature horsebit detail. In case you didn't know, the brand choice had a deeply personal connection to her relationship with Ronaldo, as the couple first met at a Gucci store in Madrid in 2016.
Ditching the traditional bridal gown, Georgina's otherwise plain Gucci look was elevated with her diamond accessories. The main highlight of her bridal ensemble was the Garden of Kalahari necklace that featured a 50-carat brilliant-cut diamond. The necklace belongs to Chopard's extraordinary collection created from a rare 342-carat rough diamond discovered at Botswana's Karowe mine. The original stone was cut into 23 polished diamonds, including several exceptional stones.
One of the most exclusive diamond collections, the Garden of Kalahari collection was also featured in some iconic looks of celebrities like Beyoncé and Rihanna.
The necklace itself could be styled in different ways because its three major diamond pendants are detachable. Alongside the 50-carat round diamond are a 25-carat pear-shaped diamond and a 26-carat heart-shaped diamond. Rodriguez chose the 50-carat stone as the centrepiece for her wedding-day look.
In one poolside shoot, she was photographed wearing a multi-strand Chopard diamond necklace, a diamond-set watch and her enormous oval engagement ring, which has been estimated at between 35 and 37 carats.

August 11 had a particular significance in the couple's lives, as it marked exactly 10 years since Rodriguez and Ronaldo first met at a Gucci store in Madrid, where she was working as a sales assistant. Exactly years later, Ronaldo asked for her hand with a stunning 30-plus-carat diamond ring on August 11, 2025, and now, to mark their tenth year since their lives changed, they exchanged vows in the presence of their five children.
Yet the extravagant jewellery stood in contrast to the wedding Rodriguez had once imagined for herself. As a child, she dreamed of a huge castle, a long wedding dress and a crown covered in diamonds. By the time she married Ronaldo, however, she wanted something much more private.
