Genelia was seen donning a white kurta and pants set with a blue-coloured dupatta. On the other hand, Riteish was looking handsome in a blue shirt with white trousers. On February 3, 2021, Riteish and Genelia had celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary. Ritesh had taken to his Instagram handle and had posted a lovely picture with his baiko, Genelia. The actor was resting his head on his wifey, Genelia's shoulder. Alongside the picture, he had written a cute anniversary wish for her, which could be read as "This is my resting place forever, I will live here, for this is the home I desired. Happy anniversary baiko @geneliad."
Talking about Genelia Deshmukh and Ritesh Deshmukh's love story, they had opened up on their relationship in an interview with Bollywood Bubble. Riteish had opened up on the dreamy proposal and had shared, "So what I did was, shaadi ho rahi thi, I told her I have to buy some stuff lets go to Taj. We sat in the car and reached Taj. I stopped the car on the opposite side towards the Gateway (of India) and she asked, ‘Why are you stopping the car here?’. I said, ‘Let’s just walk across because there’s lot of traffic.’ She got out. I had a jacket so I wore my jacket. She wondered why was I wearing a jacket. I took her down towards the jetty and we got on a speed boat."
