Genelia Deshmukh and Riteish Deshmukh are one such couple who have been giving inspiration to all millenials with their perfect relationship. Genelia and Riteish would have never thought that a casual meeting in the year 2002 would change their life forever. Genelia, who had met Riteish at the Hyderabad airport for the test shoot of their debut film, Tujhe Meri Kasam had a preconceived notion about him for hailing from such an influential family. But not even in their dreams they might have thought that they would pronounce each other as husband and wife. 16 years old, Genelia and 24 years old, Riteish had gradually fell in love with each other and after dating for 9 years had finally tied the knot on February 3, 2012.
In the times where break-ups and patch-ups happen with just a blink of the eye, Genelia and Riteish have reinstated our faiths in true love. They have proved that if there is love, nothing else matters. Genelia, who is quite active on social media took to her Instagram handle on December 17, 2019 and posted a beautiful family picture with a heartfelt birthday wish for her hubby, Riteish. Her note could be read as “Dear Forever Mine I will say the same thing to you now, that I will say to you when you turn 100. You are my today and all of my tomorrows Happy Birthday Love. Genelia and Riteish have been giving couple goals. On day 2 of the Lakmé Fashion Week winter/festive 2019, the two had stormed the internet and had surprised everyone with their camaraderie. With their ‘twinning in blue’ outfits, they had looked adorable and made for each other. On February 3, 2019, Genelia Deshmukh had penned down a long note for her darling hubby, Riteish Deshmukh to mark their seventh wedding anniversary. She had written, “Every girl has a certain perception of how they would want their life partner to be... I Honestly Didn’t.. I had this most amazing partner who was my bestest friend, who was the shoulder, I always found when I needed to cry and who made me believe that no matter how tough life is, with us being partners we would take it on, in any form, in any way... That’s the man I eventually married and he never ever stopped being the reason for my smile... So I’m glad I never ever had a perception because the reality of living and breathing this wonderful man is all I ever needed to know.. In a throwback 2014 interview with Tribune, Riteish Deshmukh had spoken beautifully about his wife, Genelia Deshmukh. He had stated, “She acted with me in my first film. We first became best friends and then midway through the film, we started seeing each other. We were seeing each other for 10 years before we decided to get married in 2012. Genelia and I are one entity. Falling in love with your friend and that becoming your life is the best thing that can happen to a person. I love her energy and her smile."
