Gaurav Khanna's Wife Akanksha Chamola Releases New Statement On Divorce Buzz, 'Not Everything..'

Gaurav Khanna is the winner of Bigg Boss 19. He had highly praised his wife, Akanksha Chamola, and her life choices in the controversial reality show. However, recently, the couple hogged the headlines after Akanksha shared a cryptic note on her social media handle. Fans speculated that they were having a marital discord. Akanksha addressed earlier rumours that their marriage was unstable. However, on January 31, 2026, she released a new statement on her social media handle related to the divorce buzz surrounding her and Gaurav.

Gaurav Khanna's wife, Akanksha Chamola, had earlier shared that the cryptic post she shared was not at all related to her personal life. For the unversed, Akanksha had shared a cryptic note that spoke on a relationship being sacrificed when it is based on needs. Now, a while back, on January 31, 2026, Akanksha shared a new statement about her divorce from Gaurav. She shared a still from her new project with Shemaroo, saying her cryptic post was related to it. Now, in a subtle way, she addressed her divorce buzz with a new statement that read:

"Not everything is what it seems. Can't wait to show you what we are cooking. Stay tuned."

It is interesting to note that the poster also had actor, Kunwar Amar and had cryptic lines such as, "Socha ki bhool jaunga. Lekin khyalo se nikalna etna asaan nai hota." Akanksha's dialogue was, "Jiss rishtein ki buniyaad maion sirf zarorratein hoh waha dil hamesha qurbaan hota hai."  A part of the note also read, "Yeh dil se ki gayi mohabbat nahi, bass ek khubsurat sa dhoka hai." Akanksha, in her new Instagram Story, posted a while back, made it loud and clear that she and Gaurav are not heading for a divorce anytime in the distant future. What is shown on social media is not true in real life at times.

Akanksha Chamola earlier had slammed reports which misinterpreted the post she had shared. The actress had to make it clear that what she wrote and shared was not intended for her husband, Gaurav. Akanksha had to bear the wreath of being trolled on the social media. There were users who imagined that the couple was separating as Gaurav wanted to become a dad, and Akanksha did not want to opt for motherhood. The actress making the records straight in an interview with the Bombay Times revealed:

"The post had nothing to do with Gaurav. I’m not someone who discusses personal matters on social media. It was meant to promote my upcoming series. It was open to interpretation, but it was blown out of proportion."

Akanksha, further responding to the backlash she faced, shared that she is the troll queen at the moment! She revealed being more open towards the subject and confessed that her husband, Gaurav, is someone who is more guarded and protective towards her image. Akanksha also shared that she and Gaurav have an age gap, and so he is mature enough to understand her point of view. She shared that she does not see herself choosing motherhood and it is a personal choice which she does not feel the need to justify.
