'Meri Biwi Hai Yaar..' Gaurav Khanna Breaks Silence After Akanksha Chamola Announces Divorce On TV

Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola's relationship has come into public light after the latter announced that she and her husband are getting divorced. For those who don't know, a few months ago, Akanksha shared a cryptic post on social media, which made many wonder if their marriage had hit a rough patch, but the two denied the same. 

Gaurav Khanna slammed the haters and stated that Akanksha is still his wife

Days after Akanksha announced that her personal life had hit a rough patch on Lock Upp 2, Gaurav also broke his silence on the matter. Gaurav was seen at an event, wherein he talked about the divorce. It comes after Akanksha's father slammed him for bringing their personal decision of not having children on national TV and making Akanksha look like a villain. 

Recently, at the event, a paparazzo asked Gaurav how he was. And the actor quickly stated that he was doing well, and stated that Akanksha is still his wife, and love is still the same. He supported Akanksha the same way. He even wished his wife the best and said:

"Bas sahi yaar, jo pehle tha wahi haal hai. Pyaar abhi bhi utna hi hai, support abhi bhi utna hai. Mai toh humesha support karunga Akanksha ko meri biwi hai yaar. Pyaar kiya toh peeche kyo hatun. All the very best to Akanksha for life mai humesha uske saath khada hoon aur usko support kar raha hoon, vo acha khele jeet ke aaye."

Soon, netizens shared their reaction. One user pointed out that Akanksha might not have told Gaurav that she would share their divorce details on the show, "I think Akansha didn't even tell Gaurav that she would tell everything on the show." Another one mentioned, "Whatever people are saying, but he was a true gentleman !!!! After separation log blame krne lgg jate h but they still support each other!!!! That's important.... And trollers! keep trolling dude!

A third one mentioned, "Divorce confirm. Gk jitni jaldi nikale saf pata chal gaya words ke pichhe kitne sare darda or lamabi udashi hai Gk stay story you always rock Gaurav gentleman kabhi kuchh galat nahi bolenge pyaar kare hai isliye." Another stated, "Ye Banda public ko bigg Boss mein bewkuf bna diya aur wife ko villain bna diya aur khud bechara pati Bankar logo se sympathy gain kr le gya."

Akanksha Chamola shared details of her divorce on Lock Upp 2

In the latest episode, Akanksha Chamola shared details of their separation. She talked about her decision not to embrace motherhood. She stated that when she was in the marriage with Gaurav, she didn't feel like having children; she had no maternal instinct. Slowly she realised that she wasn't meant to be a mother, and he was okay with it. But over time, things shifted, and then he wanted to have kids, and she couldn't give him that. 

It seems like Akanksha realised that Gaurav wanted to have kids eagerly, but they were no longer on the same page. She stated that she didn't have any motherly instinct, and she clearly told her husband about it. Not only this, they had a discussion where she told him that if he wanted to leave her, he also could, as people marry to have kids and to make a family. She further stated that Gaurav was not wrong in wanting to have children. However, when Bigg Boss happened and what Gaurav shared on national television made her realise that she cannot give him what he wants.
